very good and effective app overall, but incredibly POOR customer service. We are in the most important & lucrative season of the year, there is a small issue we are having with this app. but no concrete support in the past 15 days, this is very very disappointing. so I wouldn't recommend this app unless they improve their customer service!
This app has been a major disappointment. UpCart promises increased conversion rates, but the reality is far from it. The app consistently freezes when adding more items, making it frustrating for both store owners and customers. It’s unreliable, and the lack of any custom coding or flexibility leaves much to be desired.
Customer service is practically non-existent. There’s no support from any real experts, and you’re left to fend for yourself when issues arise. It’s clear that the developers are more focused on maximizing profit than providing a quality support and app. There are far better apps available with responsive support and real customization options. Save your time and money—look elsewhere!
Layout is very nice, support is taking forever to fix a simple issue. Our products won't scroll when added to cart. May have to go back to rebuy to get it working how we need to again.
Update: total lack of help
Doesn't work- Not a fan of apps that hold my customers ransom in such a way.
5 Days into my Selling Plan trial it disabled all purchases (not just upsells) demanding I get a Selling Plan despite being on the "free" trial for it.

Based on the images you sent us in the support ticket, you must have meant to leave this review on the app called "Buy Button". The images you had sent us picture the "Buy Button" app and not UpCart.
I suggest reaching out to the "Buy Button" app's support team so they can look into this issue for you and possibly offer compensation for the lost sales as well!

as other users already written. this app is so buggy, that it destroys your business. it added random products to cart without displaying them, after hours the customer service told me he opened a ticket! sometimes they dont answer! the other day the add to cart button was not working and i made zero sales, till i found out! found every day another error and they charge 50€ for this! uninstalled it! customer support needs hours to answer, it seems like its not neccesary to take care when the easiest functions not working! do not install this app!
"Disappointing Experience - Lacks Key Features and Poor Support from John"
I had high expectations for UpCart, but it ended up being a big letdown. The platform is missing key features that are crucial for a smooth e-commerce experience. To make matters worse, after I uninstalled it, it left behind a lot of code on my website, which caused unnecessary clutter and required manual clean-up. I reached out to support, specifically to John, but he was completely unresponsive, offering no help at all. Overall, UpCart is not worth the trouble. Stay away if you want a reliable and well-supported product!
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service. The team provided no individual assistance for coding or app adjustments, instead directing us to self-help articles. Despite configuring the app correctly for our market's currency, it displayed prices in USD instead of AUD, preventing us from making immediate sales.
Unfortunately, the team lacks a development team and suggested we either code the fix ourselves or hire a professional. For a $30 app, this level of support is highly disappointing. Most Shopify apps priced above $12-$15 typically include developer support to resolve issues stemming from the app's programming. would recommend the app for that price!
Discount codes wont work, sort of like their non existent customer support. I watched their support chatbox for 3 hours with ZERO replies - Pure garbage.
This is NOT worth! it has been 4 days and the app is still glitching a lot. The shipping protection doesn't stay on if you go from checkout back to the store, and the app sometimes even removes items from the cart. I've notified support and all they say is "we're working on it"
Klaviyo users beware - please reconsider using this app if you also use Klaviyo for your abandoned cart emails. Once you install this app, Klaivyo will no longer be able to see the scripts for adding to cart. It took us weeks to work out what the issue was (and thousands lost in revenue) before we worked out it was this app. When I contacted support about the issue, they actually knew about the issue but they don't let you know at install. I don't normally leave 1 star reviews but the coding on this app really impacted our store negatively. Support should offer to install this properly with custom coding for those customers using Klaviyo.
