I had originally written a 1-star review because something on my invoice did not add up and I thought UpCart was charging a percentage of my sales.
Their team reached out to me and patiently explained to me their pricing model and how that works. They clarified all of my doubts and it's clear that they really care about their product and having happy customers.
Because of that experience, I'm amending my review to 4 stars. I don't give 5 stars, because I still don't understand why this tool can't be a one-time subscription model regardless of how many orders I have on my shop.
However, if you're looking for a nice cart drawer solution, and don't mind their pricing model, this tool has been a breeze to install and use!

With that in mind, allow me to explain why UpCart's pricing is structured this way. UpCart isn't just an upselling app, and this is why we don't charge on a per-upsell basis.
UpCart's main value is giving your customers a convenient, always accessible, and easy way to manage their cart while browsing your store. Normally they'd have to load a whole new page (.../cart) to do so, which adds friction to the transaction and may increase churn.
The best way to judge UpCart's impact is by looking at the number of orders generated, since every order interacts with UpCart and gets value from it.
I completely understand the frustration around the pricing, I recommend continuing the conversation with our support team (clicking "I need more help" on the bot will redirect the conversation to our team) so we can help improve your experience with the app.

I had a great experience with Dom from UpCart support! She was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to assist with my concerns. Great app with a wonderful service! When u need to change something u can always ask for help through the chat and without any problems they will help u untill u have finished ur task that u had in mind.
Very good app, John helped me with a few changes I needed to make in the code and did it extremely fast on the spot.
i had an issue related to my cart and i tried to reach the support, within just 2 minutes Michelle reached out to me and solved my problem with ease in just 5 minutes. It was so quick and hassle free. Great support and i will highly recommend Upcart
Great app, really improves my CVR and AOV, very helpful staff who are incredibly responsive and effective. I have used upcart on multiple stores and there has yet to be an issue they could not fix!
it is a great app to increase conversions, it just really sucks to see they hide their pricing from their app within shopify. they only show it on here. Very sneaky for upcart to do this. For example i pay 30 dollars a month but saw some orders in Q4, after getting only 1000 orders they charged me $30 plus an extra $60 on top of that for "usage fees". Very sneaky and is quite wrong. The customer service said they try to be as transparent as possible about the pricing. But not having it anywhere on the app is the farthest thing from transparent. Save your hard earned money and try and find a better app.

I cannot say enough amazing things about UpCart / AfterSell and the support!!! Support team hopped on last minute when I urgently needed to migrate from a competitor app to UpCart due to some issues with conversion on the other. Patti hopped on a call with me close to 11pm at night to walk me through the launch and it could not have been an easier launch. The ability customize the cart and easily has already been a game changer. Cannot thank the team enough!
