I’ve been using Upstack for about two weeks and the experience has been extremely frustrating.

First of all, support is basically non-existent. I’ve contacted Michael multiple times regarding dozens of warnings showing up in Events Manager, and he simply does not respond. When he does reply (rarely), it’s clear he hasn’t read my messages carefully and ignores the screenshots I provide.

Second, the tracking quality is seriously flawed. For example, around 55% of my PageView events are sending the same IP address instead of unique IPs per user. This completely breaks data accuracy, attribution, and audience building — which defeats the whole purpose of using a tool like this.

On top of that, there are multiple warnings (invalid timestamps, data inconsistencies, etc.) that remain unresolved even after reporting them.

And finally, the pricing is absurd for what it delivers. It’s extremely expensive, and honestly, even if it were free, I wouldn’t use it in its current state.

Overall: poor product, poor support, and unreliable tracking. Not recommended.

I first reported the issue on March 17, and even by March 22 I still had not received any real response or proper technical assistance, despite repeatedly asking for help during that entire period. In practice, I was talking to myself because nobody was actually addressing the issue.

The claim that they were responsive or actively trying to resolve this is simply untrue. I have the full conversation history, and it clearly shows how unprofessional, dismissive, and ineffective their support actually was.

Instead of taking responsibility for the technical problems and lack of support, they chose to post a misleading public reply and portray the customer as the problem. That says everything about how this company operates.

If anything, their response only further confirms my original review and strengthens my belief that this app does not deserve to be listed on Shopify in its current state.

We attempted to help this individual get onboarded through a zoom call, however, customer was extremely abusive to our customer support reps, so we made the choice to discontinue working with this individual.

We responded timely to all requests within 24hr of US working hours. Non-emergency requests which come in over the weekend are handled first thing Monday.

We will NEVER work with customers who threaten, verbally assault or berate our staff.

This app has been incredibly helpful in navigating Meta’s new health policy changes. It provided an effective solution for fixing custom event tracking, ensuring our campaigns remain compliant and still track. Highly recommend it for anyone facing similar challenges!

1. New Customer Data in the FB dashboard is so helpful
2. They included a dashboard with tons of good info like LTV number and such
3. Prices are very reasonable and Michael personally sets everything up for you, he built me flows in Klaviyo that capture lots of missed leads and they are delivering amazing results, he's a terrific person and super honest.
Don't think twice, you will get back the value X1000.

This App is great
- setup was very straightforward, all done on a shhort call with an expert based in the US
- ongoing it has improved our data quality scores
- one small issue which was fixed within an hour, very impressive!

Implementation = a breeze. The data = clean. Integrations...tons! Overall super helpful to get us up & running and if we have any issues they are super responsive. Getting the data we need to scale campaigns & even helping our Klaviyo email instance to be more efficient. Thank you!

3rd party CAPI is important to increasing data accuracy with our marketing platforms. I looked at several providers and chose upstackified because I felt the technology and customer service were aligned with my business. After implementation our match rates went up over 30%. They even helped us navigate a few other technical issues along the way with a very personal touch. I highly recommend!

After testing out and surveying a number of platforms in this space, we onboarded with UpStack based on a strong recommendation. It's been a few a months now and absolutely no regrets.

Michael has been a fantastic partner. It's rare that I run into someone in ecomm that has a truly deep technical knowledge of the attribution space given that it's quite the black box. He knows the space forwards and backwards. Very impressed. He's readily available to assist and I've picked his brain many times, quite often on topics hardly related to his platform and he's yet to tell me to get lost.

We've seen Event Quality Match scores in meta increase, adding reliable NC purchase, NC CPA and NC ROAS metrics in ad manager is massively helpful as we're very focused on optimizing for NC, Klaviyo abandon flows are picking up significantly more revenue outside of our standard abandon flows (this alone generates a very solid ROI on using UpStack).

Overall big thumbs up for building a great platform and strong recommendation to others. With Michael's personal onboarding walk through which made the onboarding super simple and eliminated the chance of misconfiguration, combined with the trial period, there's no reason not to onboard to the platform and give it a try.

We found this CAPI to better than others that we tried. We did have some initial challenges installing due to customizations on our end - but Michael and team were excellent in working through those issues and we have been live for several months. We've had steady performance over that time and our scores in META are strong. I recommend.

Moved from a competitor to Upstackified and have a very clear picture that Upstackified is a faster setup, with a much more competent team, amazing customer service, and better performance, for a cheaper price- it's not even close. Just the incremental email revenue alone covered it's cost and added a 41x ROI, not including the better data for ads.

We looked at several competitors and talked to some customers of upstackified and their competitors. From our research, Upstackified was by far the clear winner in terms of data accuracy, customer service and pricing. After installation, we saw improvements in our data and performance. Michael, the founder, is fully available and is quick to respond to any issues or questions we have. This is a no-brainer and just about a requirement in today's privacy environment, especially for brands spending larger dollars on paid ads.
