I tested VLD Valider for a few days on my Shopify store, hoping it would help catch address errors.
In the past, I rarely had issues, mostly just missing house numbers on orders. Strangely, this app flagged 90% of them as needing corrections.
At 0.04 cents per validated order, it’s not worth the hassle or the constant false positives. Save your time and money, stick to manual checks.

The Valider app is specifically designed to validate the shipping address during the checkout process. If any address errors are detected, such as missing house numbers or other discrepancies, the app will flag the issue and prompt the customer to correct the address before proceeding to payment. Once payment is completed, this confirms that the address is accurate.
If an order is successfully validated, it will be tagged as "VLD_verified," which indicates that the address has been verified for accuracy.
Regarding the fee, please note that the $0.04 charge applies to each validated order.
