This is one of the greatest apps I have ever used. I have been with Vela for almost 2 years, and have stuck by the amazing company ever since. They truly are trying to change the way efficiency is done, and the simplicity of it is great! From the smallest businesses, to big ones, you can change descriptions, titles, images, prices, literally everything is available to edit but at scale. As soon as you publish the updates, within a couple minutes (depending on the amount of edits) the edits are live before anyone even notices!

I've done a lot of research and looked at numberable Etsy to Shopify bulk editing and transfer software. To date, I haven't found a better made program than GetVela so much so that I've actually been a member now for 2 years. Also check out the Video library, that area is loaded with information on how to opperate Vela. On the rare occasion I needed help, Justin, the owner of GetVela always provided top notch customer service. My best advice "give it a try and compare against any other program as I seriously doubt you'll find any better. I just can't wait till Vela is functional with other platforms like Amazon and eBay which I hear won't be long from now.

Essential app to control Etsy and Shopify. Very easy to use and yet very powerful. Saved me a load of time,. And if you get stuck Justin is always there almost immediately to guide you.

I have been using Vela for a couple of years now. I have seen changes and have ridden these changes with price changes, etc. It is more than I would like to spend a month but overall it is AWESOME to use for my bulk editing. This app is brilliant! As an artist, I have sometimes felt discouraged by how time-consuming creating listings and maintaining my E-commerce shops was and how it left me little time to create more art to list.

A couple of months ago, I started a Shopify sister shop to boost my Etsy shop but was worried I had taken on more than I could manage. That's when I found Vela.
After learning to navigate and use all the functions I realized I found a goldmine. The amount of time this app saves me is priceless. Because of having Vela, I have enough time to be able to open more shops for "side hustles".

I also must add that the user support is excellent. They are responsive, and go the extra mile to make sure any questions are answered and understood and issues are resolved.

This app functions beautifully considering it is fairly new and a work in progress. I hear more great functionalities are coming which I'm looking forward to seeing.

I have been using Vela since its early days... On 5-6 Shops!
I loved it, but not anymore... Not only is it now buggy, but the pricing structure has changed tremendously. I loved that it was a flat $5.00 per store. It made it affordable for someone running several shops. I logged in today to do some maintenance and 3 out of 6 shops will end up being $16/month. It is now based on the number of items in the shop. I know this is still cheaper than many options... But with the limitation on item updates, this makes it untenable for me. I'm sorry to leave Vela and will not recommend it to folks in the future.
I guess it's back to the drawing board to find a better option.

the support is horrible. I had two shops, and Vela was install in one of it, which i can't connect, and login. if I were the customer service, it would rather just don't check all the parameters, and figure out the problem for me. instead, Justin used CAP to TELL me not to do certain things, and told me in a demeaning way that's just waste of his time to help me. what a idiot. if you are so cocky, go work for google or microsoft.

They used to be free. Then they started charging $10/month which was worth it (even with a Shopify store and Etsy - so I had to pay double). Now they are raising their prices again. I'd have to pay $45+ a month to use this app. 100% NOT worth it.

Great experience so far. Simple and intuitive to use. From basic stuff like ensuring all my images got imported from Etsy (vs just the first 5 with default Shopify import)..it just makes synching my product listing easy. Support has been very responsive and effective!

BEWARE!!! I have been using this app for a long time now with several different shops on both Shopify and Etsy! STOP --> Before you use this app, the company just rolled out a "major update" on November 1st and their update tanked all the limited features that did work before and created major problems in functionality #1 it will act like and show that you are creating new "unpublished" items, they if you go to publish them to your Shopify draft listings (not even active), it will delete the listing(s) you created. That means if you were creating a group of listings from their "create new" button, it will look like they are being created and show that an item was being created and then when you go to publish it will delete all the items from your shop, entirely! You cannot publish from create new to either publish or draft and it will delete all your item(s) not recoverable. This means if you did 10 items, added photos, video, description, etc. This update will delete all your work if you try to publish the item. #2 The new AI features do not work and will permanently delete other information within an item listing. #3 There was no improvement to the photo editing tools despite what they claim and the background removal tool no longer works for many items. #4 You cannot use many of the "new" features they added in bulk editing. You will still have to go in and manually update the items one by one even when you have selected a group of items to edit in "bulk" #4 The shop "refresh" shop button will delete or unpublish items already published in your shop. #5 The "refresh" shop button eats up your daily allowed item creation, publishing, or editing, even if you don't add, change, or do anything to any item. They require you to refresh (sync) your shop frequently to use their app and they show a timer of when you last refreshed it. It does not automatically sync with the current inventory in your shop unless you hit the refresh button. #6 They will lock down your shop when you reach a number count. For example, if you have 100 items in your shop and you hit the refresh button 10 times throughout the day, you cannot list a single new item that day as you will have hit your "1000" item a day creation/listing/update they've now imposed and didn't exist before Nov 1st! Refreshing your shop isn't creating a new listing. #7 They are offering a promotional discount right now with their update for one month free, in their emails to existing customers they said they would give one month free for those already paying for their premium upgraded subscription. Upon contacting their customer service they are refusing to honor that advertisement sent in their emails. #8 They are using the free month of premium features to auto-enroll non-upgraded linked shops into upgraded paying premium subscription services with autopay without authorization into a subscription and you have to contact them to request to be unsubscribed and have those shop(s) removed from premium subscriptions to not get charge first of December which also means you do not get the free month of premium as they are advertising. Bottomline: Proceed with caution, the limited usable features it offers can be found from other apps.

By far the BEST tool! the value you get is nothing compared to the price of this software. The UI is very user-friendly, and customer service is 10/10 Very fast and very knowledgeable. Vela makes your life as an e-commerce seller so much easier so you can focus on the important parts of the business.

Very happy with this App, its made bulk admin of my stores so much easier! Well worth the monthly subscription.

I'm just testing a trial of this software though so far, except for a couple of additional things I would have liked to see as features, which I contacted their support about and who advised me that they're on their to-do list of features in the near future, the functionality and ease-of-editing capabilities is far better in this app than using the native Shopify Bulk Edit and standard Products screen. I'd highly recommend this app and in relation to the previous negative reviews, I hate to say it though all apps have their problems and apps that are powerful can sometimes have inadvertent consequences if you tick the wrong tick-box and "Apply" the changes to a large amount of products! The reality is, you just have to be very careful and not be asleep at the wheel when using these kinds of bulk editing tools.

It would be nice to see publishing directly to other channels such as Amazon, though if that's the direction the creators will take, I'm sure they'll make it happen (I'm a software developer so know how much work it takes to develop software, even those "I just want a button that does this" type of work can takes months).

Absolute life and time-saver for both Shopify and Etsy to bulk edit, add, and update products rather than individually going through all the listings. The creator of the app is extremely responsive whenever I've had a question and have responded within minutes. Literally could not run the store without it!

Took two lots of money for my stores but I only upgraded one. Wouldn't even work the next day. Took loads of products off my etsy and shopify. Awful and rude customer service. Avoid! There is better out there

Vela was recommended to me by a Shopify "helper" on Fiverr. The well thought-out functionality, video instructions, establishing variation profiles, tagging items, etc. make using it easy.

I had an issue with my photos syncing to my variants in Etsy and Justin got with me within minutes to help. We did a share screen and not only did he give me a much quicker way to link my photos but I learned all that I have been missing out on! Getvela is a super handy tool to have and their customer support rocks! The upgrade is a must need for your online shops!

This is the first time I write a bad customer service review. They are, specifically Justin, so bad to the point all of the good things from this app combined cannot make up for the ignorance and assumption they put me through. As a owner, I carefully went through each and every tutorial clips they have. TWO MESSAGES in the conversation and Justin already assumed I had not watched any video. He forced down on the conversation twice, and up until my confirmation and screenshot that I watched the video he asked for a screen recording. Be aware, this app doesn't work on text or message!!! Only via calls or screen recordings at your convenience (or theirs?). He claimed that because he had 'customers from over 72 countries', therefore it's best for you to: 1) watch the clips, and 2) make a screen shared call with him to avoid 'back and forth between chat/email' quote-on-quote. Well you know, no one gives a care how many customers the app is troubleshooting at the moment. It is part of your JD and get used to it, or ask for a raise maybe? Like Klaviyo, they queue the customers so everyone has their numbers and wait to get a full attention rep who is willing to help you, listen or text. Clearly, they just do this as a chore and don't appreciate the customers (with 21 and still counting one-star reviews with no response). If you feel like working with someone who cares, STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP.

A real time saver. I have been using Vela for 6 months and love all the features. Especially, the copy option. I have 3 stores (2 Etsy & 1 Shopify). Additionally, I have used the option to bulk change pricing and sections (categories). Another time saver. Without reservation, I highly using this app (oh! the plans are very inexpensive)... Followup on April 22, 2022 I had to replace my ID & PW connected to my Vela Account. I had a Zoom conversation with Customer Support. Once again it was Super. I got lucky and spoke to the CoFounder. He couldn't have been any more helpful. It was a few clicks and I was back working on my Shopify and Etsy Stores. This experience was by far the best Customer Support I have ever received when calling a major tech company. If you are thinking about jumping into the GetVela app, I say do it. You will be very happy you did.

The last app I used totally messed everything up when I tried to transfer products from Etsy to Shopify. This is the only app I've found that works. I originally discovered Vela when I was searching for a bulk editor to update my Etsy shop listings. It works brilliantly for that, by the way, with a ton of features like bulk find-and-replace, bulk photo uploads, bulk profiles (which allow you to keep a set of tags and other attributes and apply them across products). Now, I can do the same with my Shopify products, AND sync them between Etsy and Shopify. I'll also add that the co-creator who responded to my queries, Justin, is amazing. Quick to respond, open to new ideas, and constantly building functionality. In short, this app will do what you need, faster, and at a great price point. Get it!

Vela is nothing short of phenomenal. They've been acing it since I began using their website version 5 years ago and their Shopify App is just one more new great thing. If you're looking for what may well be the cleanest, most efficient and (most importantly!) functional cross-sales-platform editing app, then Vela is going to be your best friend. I used this app when it was free and loved it. I was hesitant when it went paid but i'm here to tell you ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY! Justin and his team are responsive (as they've always been) but they're always improving the app, they actually listen to feedback and implement changes as necessary. they're quick to fix any glitches. they've made this already great app, even better! and i hear they have more feature releases coming- sooo excited!

This is a great time saver. I think they need to invest in a little more support for better customer service, but while I'm building my shop, it's been a life saver!

I love this app. It responds well for editing products in Bulk. I've used it a few times, even unpacked... and I always come back to it. It fits my needs very well and when you understand how it works, it's well thought out!

This app is the way you wish Shopify worked right out the box to help you manage your products. Ability to bulk edit anything, manipulate images, manage tags .. I haven't explored all of the functionality yet but it saves SO much time that the cost savings are incredible. Plus a lovely user interface to boot. Customer service has also been very responsive and helpful. Honestly, for $10 a month, this app is a no-brainer decision for your store.

I purchased this app so that I could more easily share listings on my shopify store on etsy. After connecting the two stores, I have been able to copy listings, in bulk, from one store to the other. Although I originally wanted to copy listings from shopify to etsy, I learned that I could also copy from etsy to shopify. In addition, Vela has saved me so much time because the tag feature has allowed me to add tags in bulk to entire groups of listings, whereas previously, I was entering the tags on a product-by-product basis. I recommend this product to anyone looking for easy way to share listings between shopify and etsy stores.

I have been using this app for quite some time now. It is generally good when the product count is low but as the product count increases the "Refresh Shop" gives wrong product count every now and then and there is no way to know what is going on. According to support, "as long as the number is higher in Vela, it's all good". There is no export utility. So there is no way for me to know why the number is higher / lower in Vela. Update: I had a screenshare with Justin and saw that All (in Shopify) and Active (in Vela) is the same. However, I would like to include the issue I faced with bulk updating description which added a lot of HTML code I didn't add and messed up my descriptions. I had to manually update a ton of products. Be careful with updating descriptions. There was also issue with changing POD for one of my products. Although I deleted the previous one, Vela didn't and the count didn't match. I'm leaving the three stars for now because I think the app has kinks that need to be worked out especially because it is a bulk update app. It can be very useful when everything is perfect but can be really problematic if things don't work. So far, price and tags have worked out really well for me.

This app saves me so much time to change variants, photos, prices etc on all my products at the same time. We sell sustainable greetings cards and have about 500 cards on the site... I just added a new variant to all of them in less than 5 minutes. That would have taken me hours without this app! Great value for the small investment.

I used this app for quite some time and was happy. . . Now that they have a lot of users, they change an App from a freebie to a paid App. . . We've added the App for the freebie reason. I've just removed the App and will look for something better.

Before the paid app started, I have already been using it for awhile. this app is really amazing and help me save a lot of time. the most amazing part is the customer service is really on ball, if you have any problem that you would like to raise up, they are definitely reach you as fast as possible to solve your issue. They are really helpful people!

I tried Vela to help me manage my listings on Shopify and Etsy. It has an easy to use GUI and it performs perfectly. I have tried many sync / integration softwares and this is by far the easiest to use, the best looking, and it does what it sets out and promises to do. I can't recommend it enough. I would also point out that at $5 a shop or $10 for the plus program that is a steal. Saving even a few minutes in ecommerce is worth hundreds of dollars. You get what you pay for in life and this is a bargain. As they add more features I am sure the price will increase and I feel it will be well worth it.
