I've had this for a while and used it bulk edit Esty listings. Recently I've been trying to make a Shopify store and import listings using various apps and not one had everything I needed. Come to find out I already had what I needed and it couldn't be easier. I have thousands of Etsy listings with many many variants and its still a breeze. The only holdup is Shopify apparently has a variant limit of 1000 per day after you reach 55000 so be aware of that. This has nothing to do with Vela but its best to use Vela 100 listings or so at a time. Cant say enough good things about the program or Justin who was very helpful.

WOW this app brilliant, just works and has saved me valuable time.
Having had this app only a short time, I have used it for bulk editing on both my Shopify sites.
I have used it for the following;
Bulk editing my prices to add on 20% vat
Copied a compleat collection of 110 products with variations, edited the descriptions and moved them to a new collection.
Bulk removed photos from collections.
Added a new products with variants to two collections.
As for using the app there is a lot of very helpful tutorial videos.

App sloopt zowel op Etsy als op Shopify de hele layout van mijn teksten. In Shopify verwijderd het alle afbeeldingen met links als ik slechts twee woorden aanpas in de omschrijving van een product via Vela. Ik had tijdens mijn sessies over Etsy contact met hun technische afdeling gehad omdat het daar ook helemaal mis ging maar dit heeft niks geholpen. Nu ik zie dat het binnen Shopify nog veel meer schade aanricht ben ik er helemaal klaar mee.

I installed this app because, at the time, my email was down so I couldn't bulk download products in spreadsheet form and re-upload it to make mass changes. In summary, this app does everything right, but it's too slow.

This app is free, so I give it a pass. But if it was paid, I would ask for a refund. The interface is solid. It couldn't be more straightforward. The design is great and you can edit everything you would ever need to edit en mass. However, there is a huge drawback.

This app took nearly an entire day to make a simple price change on my products. Granted, it was 5400+ products, but still... If my email were not down at the time, I could have downloaded a spreadsheet of my products from Shopify, made the changes in excel, and re-uploaded it all within 15 minutes.

I have no Shopify app dev knowledge so I don't know if it is their fault how slow it is. And I can see how an app might have a ton of limitations when compared to a native bulk CSV upload. So devs, if you're reading this, I am not blaming you.

At the end of the day, it is a good app to have. Especially because it is free. But if you are thinking about installing this, ask yourself a few questions:

1. Do you understand how to make bulk edits with CSV files? If so, and you have access to it, you don't really need to install this. But if that is you, you already know that. On the other hand, if spreadsheets intimidate you, install this app.

2. Do you have time to spare? Is it okay if the edits aren't published for a few hours? If so, use this app. If time is of the essence, don't bother. Make CSV edits.

3. Do you need something to make simple, non-essential changes without messing with CSV files and potentially making a mistake? Definitely download this app.

It's a great app. And it's free. It's just slow. Despite the speed issues, I will keep this app. I don't like making edits to bulky CSV files for minor, inconvenient changes. I will continue to use this app for that single purpose. However, if the changes I need to make need to happen quickly, CSV it is.

This app is a life savior! I fave products with hundreds of variations (art prints with a lot of framing options, sizes, and print mediums), and I had to change the prices on all of them. This app allowed me to create profiles for each product type and change the prices simultaneously. Also, bulk editing anything in this tab is extremely intuitive and easy.

This a great app for bulk editing listings. It has an intuitive design and is easy to use. You can easily add photos, skus, edit descriptions and titles, and the developers are there to help when you reach out for support. We use this app on a regular basis to optimize our listings and are looking forward to the updates for linking the store to Amazon and eBay.

Fala que e grátis, e agora esta cobrando, enganação pura, fala que meu trial terminou sendo que no site fala que e grátis. mó pilantragem aplicativo estava gratuito e agora estão cobrando, quando instalei não tinha informação nenhuma que esse iria ser cobrado algum valor nesse aplicativo ou que iria ter período de teste, quando efetuei esse comentário ainda estava como grátis

Updating inventory to a specific warehouse location doesn't work. For example, I have a warehouse in US and Egypt. If I update the stock quantity in Egypt in Vela, it ends up updating the stock quantity for US in Shopify. Haven't heard anything back from support over 7 days.
