Virtue ‑ Charity Donations

Very nice app, easy to integrate on the store, very customizable. And customer service is so so so nice

I got charged when i uninstalled the app. So i asked the support and they say just uninstall it again. I got charged again the second time when I told them I uninstalled it. You guys are a scam.

We were sadly let down by a number of other applications similar to this. With Virtue - Charity Donations, we were very happy with the features available and the ease of implementation. There are fees associated with this application; so be aware.

The chat support is amazing and the simplicity of their answers really does help yo uset the app up with ease. They respond really fast and always have the best info. Sometimes linking to their blogs and video walk throughs too which is really helpful. Looking forward to getting it up and running. Only suggestion I would make for an improvement would be to add a donation calculator, Where you can click on and off each of the campaigns with a box to add value so you can make sure there isn't too many running at once, especially as the invoices are monthly. But great app for what it is thank you!

Tested about 10 different donation apps, and Virtue has by far the cleanest UX and best support. I wanted to pick a cause that was not on their list but they just added that to my causes within the hour. Amazing!

Great app for donation, I had an issue with the automatic banner on product page and their team was quick to fix the issue.

Virtue was very easy to set up. There are plenty of charities to choose from and I would highly recommend Virtue for others to use.

A really simple app with great customer service, that does just what I needed it to do - offer customers the option to donate to a chosen charity. It was very simple to install and is user friendly. I really love this app!

I used this app to give to some important charities that align well with my brand and they are great at what they do. Their customer service thus far is superb and quick to respond. It would be great though if they can allow, through their app, to manually give to charities already registered with them rather than having to go directly to the charities' websites. Great app though!

Pledger is a great application. The cause we wanted to donate to wasn't initially signed up, but the team bent over backwards to fix this so that we could begin making donations as soon as possible. All was resolved within less than two weeks and I'd recommend to all businesses looking to make a social impact.

Okay so we started out wanting to find an easy way to donate to charity and immediately came across Pledger in the app store. A great app but while we wanted to support many of the causes, both of us wanted to support a cause that was really important to us. Through the option to add your cause, I contacted Pledger and could not have had a better experience - special shout out to Mariya who kept me up to date throughout the onboarding. One thing I really like is they let you make the call on how much of your donations go towards Pledger vs the charity - including zero if you wish. Seems reasonable to support Pledger in their work and I really hope that others join in. A couple of things I'd hope to see in the future is the option to show a total donated on the site for ultimate transparency to our customers and perhaps more customisation for the built in product page notices etc. I've opted to craft our own for now. The only other thing is despite turning off the post checkout option to donate / post checkout Pledger page this does seem to randomly appear which I will likely contact Pledger for some further help with soon but for now I will continue to investigate what's causing this. We've taken the decision not to ask for customer donations at this time but it still seems to appear, for some reason. Finally hopefully in the future it would be possible to set a donation amount per-order rather than per item or a percentage. Due to the way our margins are especially for Clearpay orders this would allow us to set a higher amount per order rather than a lower amount per item purchased but overall it works okay as it is. Overall though, a great experience. If you're thinking of doing some good with your Shopify store then check out Pledger - even if they don't have the charity you want to support currently.

So easy to set up and get donations collected instantly. A really great collection of charities too. Plus a great team - thank you Pledger!

This app does exactly what I wanted - the option for customers to donate to our partner charity at checkout. It is tailored to UK charities and it was a very easy process to have my charity added. The support was amazing - the lovely Mariya helped me over email and even jumped on a Teams session with me to talk things through. Thank you so much, can't wait to see how many donations we can get!

This app is just what I needed. I'm a small shop with a limited budget but I still want to give back from day one. This app allows me to do that. It's super easy to set up and the team behind Pledger are really helpful when I've had questions. Highly recommend this app.

This app has been super! If your brand donates to charity then this is perfect. It has suited exactly what we needed for our product. Mariya and the team has been excellent dealing with not only us but our chosen charity as well and the setup was smooth and is going great. I will be looking to add more charities with pledger soon as our product range expands.
