The app is completely misleading. I set up a promotion so my customers will save 10% for 1 item, 20% for 2 items, 30% for 3+ items...as the app suggests they can do. I paid for advertising and posted the offer on all my sales channels and social media. Only to get a heap of complaints that it only works if they purchase multiples of the same item. Who wants more than 1 of the same thing?!
When I contacted support, they took hours to get back to me and fobbed off my issue saying "sorry we don't support this function". I've had to refund customers the difference, take down all my advertising and re-advertise at my own cost, as well as losing customers trust. Their marketing is completely misleading and the support is non existent.

This app provides basic quantity discounts and that part works well. However, an item which is not disclosed on their description page is this app does not work with Paypal Express Payment and other payment types from the Cart Page. It only provides proper discounts from the Checkout Page. If you offer Paypal Express Checkout or other Cart Page payments it won't calculate the discount for your customer. I found out the hard way. If they could fix this issue the app would be 4 stars. If they would update the app to allow different Discount Text per Offer versus one Discount Text to be used for all Offers this app would be 5 stars.
Feb 26, 2019 update: Just discovered that the Shopify Discount Code is also disabled if a customer buys any products that use the HulkApp volume discount. HulkApp didn't tell us this limitation up front. They now have a work around (supposedly) but you have to add more of their code where you believe you need it... Part of the beauty of Shopify is being able to build a website without having to know code. This HulkApp drags you into coding. Be aware... Dropped my rating to a 1 star with this new information.
I can tell that Support is trying to help but the solutions are often a bit cryptic for my skillset and involve editing code... Not where I wanted this to go.

All codes there. Went throug all codes and set up al items. Attached it to a whole collection. Doesn’t do anything to reduce the price either per item nor multiple item per collection. Disappointed.

Stopped working after a few weeks, after I'd spent hours populating it. No response at all from customer services. Uninstalled.

This app has got worse and worse since more users are using it. This app relies on api calls to their own servers, which slows down your checkout. As of today, their server is down, with a 503 error showing in my shopify apps admin section, and a greyed out 'add to cart' button on my website cart page, meaning no-one can purchase from my store. Ive had to roll back my theme 6 months to get rid of their code as an uninstall does not fix this issue. The developers behind this take days to respond to tickets.
Be aware that installing this app means that your cart will be slower and that if any issues arise your cart button will not work. I guess this is the price you pay for using a free app!

I was using this app since the last year and it was working absolutely fine but after the recent update, it stopped working. Please help

DO NOT USE THIS APP. THE APP SUDDENLY STARTED CALCULATING ALL THE DISCOUNTS WRONG AND WE GOT SOME CUSTOMERS BUYING WITH 90% AND 100$ DISCOUNT. i CONTACTED THE CHAT, THEY WERE ONLINE, THEY READ MY COMMENTS AND THEY DIDN'T REPLY.

Sorry, have to vote down my inicial rating. This plugin destroyed my shoppify store and cannot be uninstalled completely. It interacted badly with another app. Support tried to help in the beginning but gave up. No reactions anymore. So one star for the app and one star for the support. Really dissapointed.

The app is hard to configure by yourself, most probably it won't work and they have special hack for every theme.. I am very disappointed by their lack of communication and their bad intent. As from the moment I saw I can't make it work on my custom turbo theme, I opened a request for an installation. THEY REMOVED COMPONENTS FROM MY SITE AND BROKE CART FUNCTIONALITY. They are rude and told me that they have specified in their FAQ that it doesn't work with ajax cart, so they decided to remove it and letting the cart icon non-functional without asking me if i'd like their app at this risk... I wsdon't ever work with Hulk apps and I hope you take this into consideration. DON'T RISK YOUR SALES FOR THIS. Take care of your store and don't give them access.. they'll modify whatever they have to in order for their app to work. This is not even close to being a profeksional!

In regards to the app hacking, that is not true. Most apps do inject code as it's the only way to add snippets and functionality. In many cases, not just with our apps, Sometimes themes aren't compatible out of the box due to customizations. This is entirely true for all of the apps in the marketplace.
We do our best to make the process least intrusive but in some cases it does require custom work and our support team is on standby.
I would appreciate you updating this review to reflect a more accurate assessment of our service and dedication to our customers and the Shopify Apps community.

I asked for a simple code tweak to fix an alignment issue this app was causing on my cart page. Support asked for way too many permissions for my liking. Why does your staff need access to my orders, customers, marketing and reports for a simple code tweak. I've requested much more detailed work from other apps and never had to give access to these sections. Worse yet, my ask for a simple explanation as to why access is needed was met with a very poor response "Our developer needs access as mentioned". Yes, ok. But why? I'm happy to change my review once a proper explanation can be made, until then I will be uninstalling, as per Shopify's advice. My simple advice to other merchants is beware.
