Nous avons pris contact afin de mieux comprendre les points soulevés et d’apporter des corrections, notamment sur certaines traductions spécifiques de votre site. Des ajustements ont été effectués de notre côté, mais nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu de retour par la suite pour continuer à affiner les traductions ensemble.
Weglot propose plusieurs outils pour améliorer la qualité des traductions, notamment les règles de glossaire, l’édition manuelle et des options basées sur l’IA, permettant un contrôle précis du contenu traduit.

I would have given it 0 stars if that were possible. This app was recommended by an agency, but they clearly haven’t used it much. Translating our mega menu is impossible. The default translations are catastrophic, Google Translate does a better job. And when you need to make changes, it’s only word by word. In short, don’t waste your time or your money.

La pire app que j'aie utilisée. Pour qu'elle fonctionne, il faut changer les DNS de ma boutique. Résultat : quand j'ai désinstallé l'app, et que j'ai voulu remettre les DNS d'origine, cela a créé un problème technique majeur qui a rendu ma boutique inaccessible pendant une journée, et m'a fait perdre beaucoup de temps pour que je comprenne quel était le problème et comment le régler. Shopify ne devrait pas permettre à des apps d'imposer des changements de DNS comme le fait Weglot.

Merci pour votre retour. Nous sommes sincèrement désolés pour les difficultés rencontrées et pour l’impact que cela a pu avoir sur votre boutique.
Pour clarification, Weglot ne modifie jamais les DNS d’une boutique sans action volontaire du marchand. Certains réglages DNS peuvent être proposés dans le cadre d’intégrations avancées, mais ils sont toujours optionnels, documentés et réversibles. La désinstallation de l’application n’entraîne aucune modification automatique des DNS.
Nous comprenons néanmoins à quel point une indisponibilité de site est pénalisante et regrettons de ne pas avoir pu vous accompagner à ce moment-là. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas réussi à identifier votre compte pour analyser précisément la situation.

Very easy to set-up and very helpful support - they reply within minutes (on workdays).
I believe for final polished translations they still need to be reviewed, LLMs unfortunately are not there yet. Hopefully they will keep improving, specially translate more within context of where the translation is, about what it is, what page/product is about.
Weglot makes managing a multilingual website much easier. The integration is smooth, the interface is straightforward, and it saves a lot of time when working across different languages.
Customer support has also been very good: responsive, helpful, and efficient whenever I had a question. Overall, a reliable solution that I would recommend.
The app is easy to install and works very well, with good execution speed. If there’s any issue to address or some fine-tuning needed for your website, customer care responds very quickly and resolves requests just as fast. Guido, in particular, is outstanding at this! I highly recommend Weglot to anyone looking for an effective website translation solution.
It's the worst app I've used. The website loads with no texts, then all the text appears after 3-4 seconds.
Also, I deleted the app and since I have to change my DNS a records for this tool, now my website is not working at all...
I never saw an app with a worst setup and execution. And for $32, is a rip off.

We’re really sorry to read your review and genuinely regret that your experience with Weglot started off on the wrong foot.
As soon as we became aware of the issue, we reached out right away and offered to assist directly with the setup to get things resolved quickly. However, we didn’t receive any response to our multiple messages, which made it difficult for us to help further.
It seems the issue occurred at the installation stage, so Weglot never actually had the opportunity to run on your site. This is of course not the kind of experience we want for our users, and we remain fully available if you ever wish to revisit the setup.

Le support par courriel répond rapidement, les réponses sont claires et toujours bien détaillées avec des captures d'écrans ce qui aide énormément. Je trouve l'app facile d'utilisation. Certains réglages précis pour ma boutique en ligne sont plus complexes pour mes compétences mais le support est toujours très aidant!
Updated comment:After testing a couple of other applications, I have to admit that Weglot is by far the fastest and easiest when it comes to actual translation. This is thanks to its unique way of handling translations virtually, so your pages are instantly available in other languages. The glossary management is also extremely convenient. The only technical challenge I faced was setting up subdirectories. If pricing isn’t an issue for you, this app easily deserves five stars. My three-star rating is purely because of the pricing model.

One of the most baffling applications I’ve used — and not in a good way.
Eventually, you’ll find yourself deep in a rabbit hole, trying to exclude as many translations as possible, as Weglot keeps inflating the word count day by day. And their word count estimation tool? Completely misleading — don’t rely on it.
Our small business (200 products), with only two translated languages, somehow exceeds 200,000 words, putting us in the $299/month pricing tier. That’s just not sustainable.
We’ll absolutely need to look for an alternative solution.
That said, full credit to their support team — they’ve been responsive, proactive, and genuinely trying to help throughout this frustrating experience.
We've been dealing with 4 languages on our Euro website.
Managing these by hand was too complex and costly.
And even when doing it by hand, a lot of translations get lost through the cracks.
We also tried other auto translate apps.
These apps were not reliable because they were either limited in the number of translations or just would take days to translate a simple website.
Weglot fixed all this!
It took a bit of time to setup properly since we use sub-folders for our languages but once we got it setup with the help of the Weglot team it translated our website on the fly!
No need to wait days, every page is translated as it's loaded.
And the options for translations are much more advanced.
You can have words that never get translated (ex: your brand name and trademarks).
You can force some words to be translated in a certain way (good for words that have multiple meanings).
Overall this app is well worth the price.
Having a full time employee translating would cost much more.
And finding one person that speaks 4 languages willing to translate our site full time is almost impossible.
