So far the best translation app, by far. I've used every single app on the market and trust me it was a nightmare to set up etc. Today we enabled a whole store in 3 languages in less than a few hours, support (Thanks Guillaume) replied extremely fast to help for extra customization, an intuitive dream. Congrats for building such a tool !
Service client efficace, traduction automatique. Le service client a résolu tous mes problèmes n'hésitez pas à leur écrire en cas de souci et vous répondrons très vite.
Maintenant tout est opérationnel sur mon site Satoshistyles et j'en suis ravi.

The application is powerful, and the customer service is really excellent and responsive.
It's possible to automatically and manually adjust the translation, which is really handy for providing a good customer experience.

After 3 other translation apps, this is the best.
Translates what others can't + translation quality is much better. If most of the others had to correct 70-80% of the text, this one has +-20%, and even that is minor corrections.
It took me a little time to understand the interface and how to use it optimally, but now I will not switch to another one.

Je cherchais une application qui permette de traduire toute ma boutique (Theme + Apps). J'en ai testé plusieurs, au final j'ai retenu WEGLOT.
Tout n'a pas été simple à mettre en place, mais le support a toujours été présent pour m'aider.
Au final ma boutique est traduite et est opérationnelle. Il me reste encore des détails à régler mais je ne doute pas que le support m'apportera encore toute son aide pour les résoudre.

Nothing is perfect but it is also about solving issues an my support Antoine took my issue and solve it without any problems, quick so that my site was up and running again before coffee thanks and keep this attitude

Works well and really good customer service.
The app is good really. I used it for more than one year. Extreme accuracy and ability to refine translations.
The only downside is the high pricing. I ended up in paying 100$ per month for a 100 visits per day website. Too high. That made me uninstall the app.
You should also beware that your subscription won't stop just by uninstaling the app. They will continue in charging you if you won't disable it via your weglot account (not that easy).
You should also disable the plan auto-update system. You may end up in paying much more than you planned for that kind of service.

About the CSS, Weglot tries to only replace the text into your translated version so our product shouldn't break any CSS on your translated version.
Note that sometimes adjustments can be required depending on the way the theme has been developed and the way Weglot works.
We are not able to find any conversation with our Support team about the specific behavior you're experiencing.

About the checkout, for your information, checkout pages won't be detected by Weglot as they belong to another domain.
These pages are hosted by Shopify itself, translations are directly handled on its side, as translations are actually coming from the theme.
That's why the language switcher isn't visible on the checkout pages.
Weglot, by its side, allows displaying the checkout in the right language for the visitor, regarding the language used on the page before the checkout, thanks to a mechanism we manage.
Weglot just allows the checkout to be displayed in the theme language related to the language used on the page before the checkout. It means that the translation isn't managed by Weglot, but Weglot just calls the theme in another language.
That being said, the checkout should appear translated on the translated version and we'll be glad to also investigate further if you could let us a chance to improve your experience.

Honestly the worst Shopify app I've ever used. It makes your store very slow and it has so many issues. The translations are very off, they don't offer check out translation so there is really even no point, very frustrating to use

About the performance =>
Note that the load time can be longer the first time Weglot translates the content.
Indeed, Weglot translation mechanism is working like this:
It scans the original content of your website (HTML file)
After the scan, Weglot parses (read and cut) the elements between HTML tags.
It automatically translates this original content to its translated equivalent.
During the translation process, Weglot is also storing these contents in your Translation List available in your Weglot Dashboard
On the second visit to the page, the time load should be way better.
About the translation =>
We try to provide the best automatic translation possible. However, we know this is really hard to fit this translation to all our user's contexts, so that's why we provide you with different options to review those translations:
- To Manually edit the automatic translations if you want to. We provide you with some useful tools in order to do that

- Edit the content you want to replace in the translated version
- ⚠️ Into your Shopify admin > Languages, change back the default language to the default one.

The app is very intuitive & easy to ease. The customer service (Baptiste & the others) is absolutely amazing, their team is very helpful, quick & nice! I totally recommand the app !
Been using this app for years, but we decided eventually to uninstall it. The app is extremely expensive in comparison with much more modern apps that offer 5 to 10 times more languages and words in much less price. Very limited in regards to deep machine translations. The support/company's management seems to be careless to respond, if they ever responded at all.

Everything just works fine, excellent translations, and last but not least Kevin from customer service helped us in in two easy steps how to solve the problem. He created a step for step/click to click.. how to solve the problem video explanation about dynamics elements. Now we can go online in French, Italian, German & English. Thank you a lot Kevin & Weglot.

After 2 days spending, the support get back to me with the good resolution. Thanks for the support. However, I do recommend to make the process easier and make the answer to what customer wanted. I will remain 4 star for now. and can always update to 5 if I monitor everything is working.
