We've honestly had a great experience with Zoko so far. We had been wanting to start WhatsApp marketing for a while but everything just seemed overly complicated to get started with. Then a friend recommended Zoko to us. Everything went super smooth. The app is easy to use and configure and customer support is super helpful. They guided us through all the mess of Meta permissions and complicated integrations. We're still starting out but have already seen some good results through Zoko. Would highly recommend :)

I stumbled upon Zoko quite randomly, and I've been really happy with their service! Starting with the demo and installation process - the team was super friendly, supportive and hands on. It made the whole process a lot less daunting and very easy. Post installation, the team gave the much needed support to ensure we were onboarded properly and this was really appreciated because not a lot apps do that! We have really enjoyed using the dashboard - super easy to use, we can also keep a track of the chats easily, and have more than one person using the chat! The thing that really impresses me is that the team are constantly innovating, coming up with new features. Anytime we have an issue, they are extremely responsive and their timeliness is commendable. 100% recommend Zoko.

Tried out couple of other options in the market for whatsapp... On the product front, zoko seems user friendly, it solves majority of the problems seamlessly.

Amazing customer support and very affordable!
We're a start-up based in Dubai, and we found them a year ago. 1 year later, we are still with them and as happy as ever. They help us with the flows whenever we ask them (mostly on the same day).
My old review:
"Zoko is costly compared to Wati. I started using Zoko for my D2C store. It was good. Then I used Wati for my B2B business. Comparatively, the amount of customization and flexibility we have on flows is more with Wati than Zoko.
One more thing is 1000 conversations per month are free in WhatsApp. Just like that, Wati is also offering 1000 free platform conversations. But Zoko is charging for all the conversations.
Now, I considered Freshmarketer, which is way more powerful and cheaper than Zoko.
Do not choose Zoko. Go for either Wati or Freshmarketer. I'm planning to move to Wati or Freshmarketer soon."
For this review, they have blocked my access to my dashboard without any update from their end. I've cleared all the bills!
I'll take this to the Shopify app store.
Good app for standard WhatsApp flows such as COD confirmation and reviews. Customer support stands out - very responsive and one of the major reasons to stay with Zoko.
I would recommend the team to allow flow customisation as that will unlock more value for merchants.
Even tho the app is paid, still there is a "powered by Zoko" on your chatbot! looks cheap. store demo on the Shopify app store is not a store demo! it's a youtube video! so no way to find out how it functions before actually using the app. The spelling errors are not being highlighted and Grammarly doesn’t work on this app. Typing with big fingers on your phone, you will be in trouble! Support is excellent! The app has a long way to be that expensive! I personally think they should have offered free if they wanted to have their name on the app and charge this amount after perfecting it! I get a notification on my phone that I have a new message but when I open the Zoko app there are no messages even after refreshing the app unless I open Zoko on my desktop. not so convenient and I keep missing messages. Overall not mobile optimized at all. thinking of changing to another app.
We’ve tried other Whatsapp Business API services, but never stuck to one for more than a couple of months. With more other services, you don’t have a fantastic chat dashboard that allows multiple agents at the same time, streamlined functionalities for sending individual & bulk messages, ability to tag and categorise users to any extend you’d like, and personalise messages to each user. Plus, the customer support team is fantastic. They are ready to help you at any time including weekends and off-hours. The one thing that’s missing is chatbot functionality so that we can automate more of these processes. The team is working on that currently, so looking forward to that update!

The customer service was fantastic, the integration is really seemless and the tool is very simple.
We really really recommend Zoko!! Zoko helps our store to communicate better with our store buyers & visitors. The app itself is easy to navigate and they also provide helpful guideline videos, so you can learn by yourself to set all things. And most importantly, their customer service is very nice and fast-response (esp. Akhila!!!).
The Zoko team - especially Nandan really helped me out to set up the app. It literally took me 2 days to set the entire thing up and they were patient and explained it really well. As far as the app is concerned it definitely has helped me grow. Helped me in recovering abandoned orders. Hoping for it work more as I am going to start sending broadcasting messages.

Its a really helpful app. We have been working with it for about 3-4 months, and it has helped a lot to take control over the orders, customers, cod confirmation. Totally recommend it A++++
This app is amazing! First of all, the team is very helpful and when you join they have onboarding calls to show you how to set things up. In terms of visibility and marketing, we are pushing this more than our mailers as once you have templates set up its so much quicker and the response is almost instant! The team is very quick and helpful when I have questions and thye easily look in on your backend to see whats going on if things aren't working - ie. If I set something up wrong ;) Highly recommend this app for anyone where Whatsapp is being used by customers frequently.
Zoko has really helped our website grow in sales and reach. It is an easy solution to automate your website and make it a hassle free process for the customers as well as business owners. It's features like abandon cart email, whatsapp broadcasts and segments has helped us reach our target audience.
Apart from the whatsapp blast for marketing, this app makes it really hard to use whatsapp for businesses. Even their newly launched app is lacking in so many features. You cannot attach photos or files to the chat, and you cannot send products from your catalog to your customers. These are all the basic features available readily on whatsapp business. And since the app is still in beta version, we can only use this app via their website. Which is troublesome because the whole reason we want to link our business to whatsapp is for ease of communication. Also, you cant text anyone from Zoko after the 24 hour window. You have to either wait for that person to text you first, or use a template. Again, this makes things more complicated than just using regular Whatsapp for businesses. If you want to install this app, i recommend buying a new number, one that you intend to use solely for zoko whatsapp blast marketing, and use another number for your whatsapp business for regular chats with customers/clients. Dont sacrifice your current business number for this app because you cannot retrieve it again. Apart from the system not working well, atleast their customer service is really good. They reply very fast, even outside office hours. The three stars are for the customer service and whatsapp blast marketing that are really good. Zoko is a good concept, but still needs a lot of improvements.
This app is amazing, it will connnect to your own whatsapp line and manage incoming messages with multiple agents and the best of all is that it is deeply connected with shopify being able to send all ecommerce notifications thru your own whatsapp!!! And the support is the best, they will meet with you any day you want to set every message and features from their amazing app. Thank you so much for developing this app!

At first, it was a little difficult to understand, but as and when we started using it we realized how powerful and easy it was to send automatic messages. The templates are very easy to set and the broadcast is the best feature. It helped us in reviving old customers who had not placed an order recently. If there were 6 stars I would have definitely given 6. Thanks a lot to the ZOKO Team for making this app.

Neat and easy solution for WhatsApp integration. Love the ability to make orders for WhatsApp without leaving the app. Broadcast also comes handy and creates a lot of conversations. Amazing customer support. Must try if you want to integrate WhatsApp.
