The Wholesale Helper app was great to outline multiple price levels for different customer groups and has worked easily. Our customization needs were relatively light, but the team there responded quickly and efficiently to make sure the app worked well for our needs. After looking through a few different options, WH was the best solution we found for our needs.

Great app with amazing support!
It has all the functions I want. Requirement for my shop's wholesale system is difficult to set the price because of various price ranges and different discount rates for each product. However, this app allows me to set a separate price for each customer tier and allow one customer to have multiple tiers, so my customer can get the right discount for their purchase without contacting our CS team.

I didn't know much about shopify and programing things, so I had to get help from the basics. The support & tech team helped me quickly and give me easy explanation. Also, I inquired to use it with other apps they provided, and I was able to design the app exactly as I wanted with their help.

Look, I don't usually write reviews unless something needs to be said. I hope this review can help someone else out like me in the future - and maybe serve as a reality check to the developers.

I don't think this app is cut-out for custom designed themes. Working with the developers has been slow and they just couldn't get the details right.

Tags have appeared out of nowhere assigned to customers, or discounts have been suddenly enabled that shouldn't have been enabled, to name a couple issues.

I'm sure the app works perfectly if you have a basic Shopify theme, but the details matter with us. One mess-up here or there can cost thousands in a flash.

For that, we have suffered, but honestly, I think this app is still the best I could find. It just doesn't deserve 5 stars in my opinion.

We still use the app, benefit from its features, and so on. It's just not an "across-the-board" 5 star app.

There's a lot to be desired from the customer service - timeliness of the customer service, and quality of the app itself.

I've stopped reaching out to customer service because they ultimately can't get the issues fixed that we need fixed in a timely manner.

And I'm compelled to leave this review after an another unknown bug just cost our store a fair amount of money.

Tread carefully.

Wholesale Pricing Discount app corrected what another previously used app could not consistently provide. Problem definition once completed the guys were very cooperative and persistent to ensure me the customer was happy. Good way to do business. I highly recommend this service for those who need a discount format their app can handle--it's working for me!

This app has led to the absolute worst nightmare to our store!

We onboarded with the app at first, and it turned out to not offer the feature that we where looking for, which was to offer collection based tiered discounts.

Everything ok so far, this can happen. We then requested them to remove the left over code that the app had left in the theme files, they told us it would take a couple of days.

We then decided to onboard with a different app, which did offer tiered collection based discounts.

We successfully integrated with the new app, and then proceeded with multiple hours of theme edits/ integrations, etc....

We finished writing all the code yesterday evening, and celebrated the finalisation of this trade store project with the theme. This morning we sent out all the invitations for the customer accounts to the trade partners.

In total, we spent over 30 hours of code edits.

Now, this is when the nightmare started:

About 3hours ago: a trade customer told us that they could not see their discounts. We then checked the website immediately, and absolutely everything had been removed from the website!

All of our design edits, all of our new template files, all of our sections, all of the new app integration code etc etc etc...

I checked the logs, and Wholesale helper had made over 10 edits to the live without making any back up, no theme duplicate, and without any warnings!

They ended up resetting the whole theme to it's original state rather then "removing the code from their app".

This is was their answer on the issue:

"I just verified this from the team. It seems the published template that had our App integrated to it has been removed and last back-up version (that didn't had our App code) has been left behind as a replacement.

It should not have been executed in such a manner-- this isn't a norm nor a practice here and we're going to take serious accountability measures to make sure the message seeps in to the members of the Product Team that did this.

Unfortunately. We tried to recover the data but couldn't - and technically I don't think there's anything that can be done. We're sincerely sorry for the loss of time and effort on your side due to this and are here to cooperate and make-up for the losses you suffered in any way possible."

Highly recommend their app. They schedule vedio Demo with you to walk through any questions. Very strong customer service and problems could be solved timly! Like their customer service!!!
