Great for my membership site! To put it over the top you could add a quick tutorial for all the functions.
This app was very easy to install which is awesome. I didn't think it would be that easy to add a forum to my website www.ionwearable.com. To login, customers are redirected away from the forum which could be improved (e.g. login without redirects). However, Xenforum got me off the ground in hours. If there were tips and tricks to improve engagement (e.g. get my customers posting to the forum) that would be helpful!
Thank you for the fix, I am still using it, so I update my review. I'd like to say the app would get better and better if developer keep updating and testing it and listen to the users' experience.

This forum development is completely abandoned as is the shopical app from the same developer. Support doesn't exist and these apps are no longer developped.
The app would be a winner but right now it is just a basic bulletin board. It does it's job at a basic level but don't expect too much. I would have given 5 stars if support and development existed

This forum app is really great. I use it for customer support, faq, share information and create a community of customers and followers. The forum is fast and easy to use. Support is fast if you need some customizat6ion like i did The only thing that prevents me from giving a 5 star review is the way to assign user roles and restrictions. It is a bit complicated. I really recommend this app if you want to grow your shop.
Looks good, easy to set up. I like that customers can use the same login for the forum as for the shopify website - nicely integrated. A little slow, but now sure if that is just my connection or something else. I probably should speed test it.
Former product manager of web development here. This app is good. There is a bit of a learning curve to understand the entire setup. Overall, I'm satisfied. The support team so far is really good and responsive.
We were answering individual email questions from customers which took up a bunch of our time. Now our customers ask us questions publicly, we answer the questions publicly, and future customers can easily find answers to their questions without having to contact us directly. If you get a lot of direct email inquiries from customers, I highly recommend this app. The best forum on the Shopify App store.

I've been trying to reach out the support team, haven't heard back from them in days.
Can't make the email notifications to work, been trying with different SMTP settings and nothing, looks like the app is using old gmail security methods.
I installed the app, loved the look, loved the functionality, it was very user friendly, and all went together well. The overall look is pleasing. Not sure what sort of controls their will be for Spam control, but will report back on that.
