What is Yandex.Metrica Analytics?
It’s an app enabling you to easily connect your Shopify store to Yandex.Metrica service with no HTML changes.
Yandex.Metrica is a free website traffic analytics service. It’s like Google Analytics with several additional unique features. Yandex.Metrica is the second largest web-analysis service in Europe. It’s totally GDPR compliant.
Why do you need to connect with Yandex.Metrica Analytics?
- Session Replay
Watch how people engage with your site – user clicks, scrolling, mouse movements, and keystrokes are all recorded in a video. Identify roadblocks on the way to purchase, see the intent behind clicks, and get insights on how to improve the user experience.
- Referring websites
Find out what domains send traffic to your store with two clicks. Yandex.Metrica allows revealing the exact URL that has the link leading visitors to your website. You don’t have to pay for additional SEO service to find your backlinks.
- Same day data
Get ahead of your competitors. The reports are being updated every 5 minutes. You don’t have to wait a day to get the information about your traffic. This enables you to analyze, make decisions and react faster.
- Customizable reports
The service allows you to add any available fields in the report and compare metrics. Any data you need, in any dimension-metric combination. Customize and bookmark reports. Get consolidated statistics on several sites. Create narrowly-defined segments with as many criteria as you wish to use. Save, export or schedule the reports.
- E-commerce data
Analyze sales data in various dimensions – find out which product category, brand, or model performs best. Discover the most profitable regions, audiences, or traffic sources. If you already have e-commerce tracking set up in Google Analytics (Enhanced Ecommerce), you can enable sending similar data to Yandex.Metrica in one click.
Please note! Yandex.Metrica Analytics application for Shopify is not an official product by Yandex.Metrica and was created by Simtech Development to simplify the process of connection between Yandex.Metrica and Shopify stores.

Unfortunately, the counter installed on the site duplicates data in e-commerce. Each sale counts not as one, but as two. Update.
I checked it
My site is moonbracelets dot com
And there is only one counter of Yandex metrica
Thank you for reaching out. Please, make sure that there is no additional Yandex.Metrica counter code added manually on your site. This is the most possible reason for such problems. Please, remove this code, if you find it.
Please, let me know if it helps. I created a ticket in our system, where provided you with the reply as well, we could continue the communication there.

The video replays and heatmaps have been very helpful to understand how to keep viewers engaged longer. Great product,
Thank you for your review!
The best app I've used to watching my customer behavior. I like that it has a dashboard with all the metrics and filtering options. Though I still haven't figured how to activate heatmaps, but it's not necessary at the moment!
Thank you for the pleasant review! I'm glad to hear that you found it useful.
Regarding heatmaps, they are are unavailable due to Shopify restriction for HTTP connections. This restriction can't be worked around and relates to Shopify security policy and Proper use policy.
