The worst experience EVER, I've been waiting for their response for 3 weeks, but I still got no response at all on any of my help requests or refund request. I emailed them 5 times and contacted an online service 3 times.
I already added $20 to my account. The worst part is I can NOT even open the App. I've been waiting like an idiot wasting my time and my money. I can not even open the dashboard. The App does NOT work at all. It keeps popping out to smsbump.com. It looks like the app is nothing to do with Shopify. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS APP. Terrible after-sale service(no service at all) All I want to do is get my money back.

Unfortunately the email response we've sent landed in the SPAM folder, thanks Intercom. The fact that you were not able to set up might be unfortunately due to the fact that you are based in China (sometimes this happens if the servers of the company are not based in China and ours are not)

This is a fake service which does not intergrate with smile at all, you will loose money and be charge for intergartion which doesn’t work I all fairness lying isn’t gonna get you off the fraudulent hook.
1 charging for a service which doesn’t exists is called Fraud !!!!!!
2 I’m yet to wait for a response from your so called developer team .
3 I have reported this to Shopify investigations , and lodged a complaint with smile and will lay a charge of fraud with the CCMA INTERNATIONAL . Hence this is a fake plug in , app service , which takes your money but doesn’t delivery what is promised , FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE

Update1: responded to the customer almost instantaneously. They have a problem with a third party integration. Working on solving it for them, but the customer stopped communicating.
Update2: The customer stopped responding after countless of reach outs.
The app doesn't work for us. It sends some random notifications that it should not. 1 customer received 5 messages of the same notification. Analytics shows completely wrong data. It does not always send a Shipping Confirmation Notification. We hoped that it would work, but it's really not.

we recently had the unfortunate experience of using the SMSBump app, and we must say that it was an absolute nightmare. What started as a promising tool turned into a frustrating and costly ordeal. we had heard positive reviews from some colleagues who had used the app in the past, but after an update, everything fell apart.
The first red flag was when the update completely removed the automation feature that had initially attracted us to SMSBump. Instead, they introduced something called "flow," which turned out to be a complete disaster. No matter how meticulously we set up the flows, not a single SMS was sent to our customers, even though they were subscribed via email. It was a colossal waste of time and effort.
Naturally, we turned to the support team for help, hoping they would resolve the issues. Unfortunately, our interactions with them only added to the frustration. Every time we reached out for assistance, they would assure me that the technical team was working on it. However, their promises proved to be empty as we never saw any tangible results. It seemed like they were just passing the buck and avoiding taking responsibility.
To make matters worse, we had already added an amount of money into SMSBump, hoping to boost our marketing efforts. However, the lack of functionality and non-existent customer support had detrimental effects on our business. we lost a substantial amount of sells due to their app's failures.
In an attempt to salvage the situation, we requested a refund of the balance on our account. However, the billing team was just as unresponsive as the technical team. They kept stalling, claiming that the refund request had been forwarded, but no action was taken. It felt like they were intentionally dragging out the process, hoping we would give up and move on.
Overall, my experience with SMSBump was beyond disappointing. It not only failed to deliver on its promises but also caused significant financial losses. The lack of functionality, poor customer support, and ongoing refund delays make it clear that this app is not worth anyone's time or money. I strongly advise against using SMSBump unless you want to go through the same ordeal I had to endure.
Absolute waste of time and energy. This app is constantly down. When it's not, it's deleting my email flows or replacing content on its own with blank template. I'm just glad I could copy my email templates before I delete this nightmare of an app.
Unless app for anyone not based in US, the rates they charge for sending text messages to other countries is ludicrous and not stated anywhere prior to them selling you on a marketing plan, that once purchased and you realize the rip off pricing that was never disclosed prior... Wont be refunded as its a "credit" against your payment.

Unprofessional! Uninstalled the app and they still charged me $60usd and deleted my account so i couldnt get my unused money out. They are even still trying to charge my credit card.
I don't understand how y'all gave this app good reviews. It is completely inaccessible and customer service sucks. They left me high and dry, stole my money and didn't give an explanation as to how it got there. I'm still waiting.
Terrible, don't even bother. Here's why:
1- Custom lists take 3 business days to get approved
2- They obligate you to add unsubscribe/opt-out even in countries where it is not mandatory - while they don't have an unsubscribe/cancel subscription for their own service on their website
3- Support takes forever to answer then closes the chat for inactivity seconds after
