I'm not the most tech-savvy person, so the UX is a little hard for me to manage - but the customer support I just received from Vincent C was top notch so I thought I'd write a review and give him a shoutout.
I had an issue with reviews populating in an area I did not want them, and Vincent came with both the solutions for future reference + he went ahead and took the 20 minutes (it would have taken me hours) to do it for me.
I really appreciate that kind of customer care.

Wendyle was incredibly helpful and responsive — really made the whole setup process smooth and easy. The app itself is great, works well, and has all the features we need. Highly recommend!
We moved to Yotpo from Loox and it was a big mistake. We were mislead on how advanced is the app. We had all customization options available on Loox on the plan of 40 per month and on Yopto we can customize very few things paying 170... Yotpo charges you for everything (extra review requests sent too) and on the top we spent days trying to migrate to the app and it was a bug on a bug on a bug.
After using it for 2 months I noticed that we do not get any reviews with photos or videos and we used to get several per week on Loox. When I asked the support how I can improve the landing page for the review request in order to get more reviews with photos/videos they told me that I should move to a more expensive plan... On Loox it was available on basic plan.
If it's your first review app probably you'll find it fine but when you've already tried couple and have experience, you'll see that Yotpo charges you for nothing. It's not worthy of the pricing they offer.

I've had a great experience using Yotpo for managing customer reviews on my Shopify store. The platform is intuitive, packed with useful features, and has made a noticeable difference in building trust with my customers. What really stood out was the excellent support I received — Catherine B. was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the process. Her assistance made the setup and optimization feel seamless. Highly recommend both the tool and the team behind it!
Vien Saints did an amazing job with customer support. We were able to share our collaborator code through Shopify and he was able to hop on and get all of the backend stuff done to fix some minor issues and I didn't have to lift a finger. Can't speak highly enough about my customer service experience with Yotpo!

Yotpo has been a great partner. Raney was incredibly helpful in troubleshooting the challenges we were facing. He responded promptly, followed up thoughtfully, and resolved the issue quickly and efficiently.
5 stars for support. Vien was particularly responsive and informative. Could do with a few more features that would make tracking easier and more user friendly navigation.

Yotpo has been very easy to use and when I ran into an issue, Vincent C through the Chat function was very helpful in answering my questions and sending me the necessary links to streamline my website and yotpo account.

Scam company.
Once you cancel your subscription, they’ll tell you your annual fee is non-refundable—even if you’ve only used it for a month or two. They won’t prorate or refund the unused portion.
What’s worse, they never inform you of these unreasonable policies upfront. No warnings, no notices, nothing.
After you’ve paid, you’ll realize that Yotpo significantly slows down your website, especially hurting CLS performance. When you decide you no longer want to use it, they’ll just say, “Your subscription is canceled, but you won’t receive any refund.”
Shopify Plus support will simply tell you, “It’s a third-party app, there’s nothing we can do.”
Total scammy behavior.
