Yotpo Product Reviews & UGC

I use this app to collect my reviews, the tutorial for manual installation where easy to follow. I also had some trouble installing the stars and Yotpo were quick to help and respond with a script!

I was having some trouble getting my existing Yotpo account integrated into Shopify- Yotpo's support service really helped me get this figured out over email- and on Christmas Eve to boot!

Can I give zero stars? The worst. I really had a bad experience with Yotpo. Their platform is extremely clunky to use and I don't recommend using them. You want to use another platform because Yotpo will really slow your website down. They're just not made to really work well with Shopify. They're probably going to say in the reply 'yes we are!'. No. They're not.

Really poor customer service too. They're super unfriendly. We were told a lot of untruths by Yotpo that resulted in a $1200 payment being taken from our account - even though we had cancelled months prior. So, if you're a small business and don't want to lose money to an unsupportive company - seriously... look somewhere else.

Go with a company that will integrate with your newsletter software, won't slow your website down and get you penalised by Google. This is really important for your growth as a business.

Also, Yotpo are being left behind by their competitors. Important to note again with Google - you want Google seller reviews. These are very useful for sales. Yotpo does not offer a good option for this.

You have been warned.

Great app, looks good on my site, and easy to set up. Customer Service is very responsive. Happy helped me out a lot; awesome representative!

UPDATE: I still use this app over a year later. I was assisted by Warly today and I was satisfied with his service.

Great app. I had some issue with the uploading of my review and the display on my site but the customer service chat handled this perfectly. Eleen and Manny are the best, they helped me with my several issues quickly and professionally ! Thanks again
