Would be great IF it supported multi currency and would allow you to add collections rather on a product by product basis
Hey there! Thanks for giving OCU a shot. We are not able to offer multi-currency due to the limitations of the Shopify API...however, I do have some good news. Adding upsells to collections is in the pipeline and should be rolled out in 4 weeks. :)

This was our first upsell product we tried. It was easy for us to set up and customizable. I had it installed for 2 weeks and immediately saw a massive drop in our conversion rate (32%). I assumed it was just a slow period but after weeks of our worst sales in a year, I uninstalled it. That day after it was removed, our sales started to bounce back. Not sure if it just wasn't right for our website (we are horseback riding pre-owned shop and were offering under $20 wholesale items we stock in this funnel). Over the 2 weeks we had 4 orders use it for a total of $88. Our average order value is $110 so if even 1 order was abandoned during that time because of the pop ups, it wasn't worth it to us.
Steve here, Customer Service Manager with Zipify.com. I've gotten a chance to review your past conversations and app store review of OCU. I hope we can work together to find out what caused the conversion drop so we can move forward together as well as improve your experience with us.
I'm more than happy to jump on a call and personally go over your strategy and upsell setup! We can reset your trial period as well to ensure you have plenty of time to work through any issues with us.
We've seen conversion drops due to issues with pixels reporting properly or due to misunderstandings around post-purchase conversion tracking.
If a pre-purchase upsell conflicts with your theme or a cart slider app this could explain the drop in conversions.
The good news is both of the issues mentioned can be fixed! Our development team can patch any theme conflicts. I do see a Cart pop-up which could very likely be the conflict with OCU.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to correct the issues and provide extra trial time. All we need is to have the app installed and we can resolve the issues. I'd love to talk with you about this, and set up a call at your convenience.

Dillon and his support team truly went above and beyond to resolve an issue for us during our trial phase. Even when they learned the issue was not on their side but in Shopify's API, they continued to offer their support, reaching out to shopify on our behalf, offering troubleshoot advice, and promptly following up with me with any updates or checking in to let me know they were still working on things. Amazing customer service. Thank you! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I wish the post-purchase funnel was more customizable to better match our custom shopify theme.

The app probably works for some stores but for some stores, it's actually incompatible with Shopify and too difficult to set up. Why not say so from the outset, instead of selling it as a Shopify app?
After installing OCU (Post purchase upsell page) I had up to 43% overreporting at Meta depending on the adset.
The support was despite obvious and transmitted data clearly disinterested and showed no interest in troubleshooting the problem.
All in all, a good app idea, but with such falsified data, the performance of paid traffic drops in relation far too much and I can not recommend this app. If the reporting does not return to normal after the uninstallation, the damage caused by the app is of course much greater.
I have now uninstalled the app and will check the coming weeks whether the reporting works again, if necessary I will update this review.

It appears that the response you received from us mirrored the one provided by Shopify in most cases, which may have seemed impersonal. We want to assure you that this was not our intention, and we acknowledge that it was not an ideal experience for you. We understand that dealing with such problems can be incredibly frustrating and complex, and genuinely sympathize with your experience.
In our efforts to resolve the issue, our support team can attempt to open a support ticket on your behalf. However, based on our experience, reaching out to Shopify support directly may not always guarantee a solution. They often recommend utilizing the Shopify Community or contacting the app developer for assistance.
Rest assured, our support team did make every effort to provide you with the necessary details and documentation to demonstrate that our application is not causing the issue with the Facebook pixel. The links we shared, directing you to the Shopify Community thread and relevant documentation, aimed to offer alternative resources for troubleshooting. It’s worth noting that third-party apps are just one of many potential sources that could lead to the duplication of your pixel and the subsequent over-firing by 2 or 3 times.
Our team invested considerable time and effort in reviewing support conversations to identify any similar issues experienced by other merchants. Regrettably, we found that no other merchants had encountered the same problem. While this may indicate that the issue is not global with OCU, we fully understand that it does not negate your individual experience or the impact it had on your business.
To proceed toward a resolution, we would like to revisit the Facebook pixel over-firing if you are willing to reinstall OCU. Since removing OCU and its associated code from your store, you should have data on whether the issue was resolved. By reinstalling OCU and closely monitoring the pixel’s behavior, we can gather more conclusive evidence to determine if OCU is indeed the cause or if other contributing factors are involved. This data will help us build a strong case to present to Shopify’s support team.
