This app is very difficult to use - The developer's site and instructions are cryptic at best.

We have tried to contact you multiple times, however we can't get to you. Could you please reach out to us so we can discuss potential solution. We think that you probably had some additional charges after the end of your billing cycle, and since that is something that Shopify as a platform is managing, we believe that this mistake happened from their side.

App works really well for creating custom data points to be used on customers, products, pages, articles, and shop. It has been used extensively throughout our store to include new functionality both on load and through user actions. The ACF support team is incredibly helpful. I have had to contact them a few times for various support cases and they are very quick to respond (usually within 1 hour). You can tell by how they respond that they genuinely want to help and that is always greatly appreciated.

So we had a custom site made and now use this for all our product metafields and the support team is SOOOOOO beyond helpful. We came from a plug in app, but this one can do so much more if you really just ask. Mikkel is awesome and made step by step directions for me and gave me options for what I wanted to do for our size guides. SOOO amazing. Definitely a lot of possibilities. Thank you!!!! The app is great for adding additional fields in your Shopify store. We use it specifically for collecting additional information about customers.
We followed the tutorial to 'allow customers to edit their own information' and received quick support from the team to help us implement our custom solution.
A bit more document would be helpful for the less experienced but the functionality is all there.

The perfect app for our online store. It allows us add and organize custom fields that originally didn't come with our theme which is extremely beneficial especially for large product database with many different attributes that need to tie-in on the product page. Easy to follow instructions. Their customer support is incredible as well, quick responses, prompt action if needed. I highly recommend if you are looking to add additional product fields.

Great app! It has a really nice UI and it works perfectly!. The support is great! We needed a way to update some metafields and they guided me and actually were on their way to release this feature. I really recommend this app.

I tried several apps to manage metafields but this is certainly the most powerful.
I contacted customer support for a problem on my theme and I immediately received a response with the solution to several of my emails.

Accentuate Custom Fields is absolutely brilliant. I honestly think ACF should be part of Shopify itself, it's so good. It's simple to use for the average user, but flexible enough to meet the needs of developers .
I come from a Wordpress background, and for a long time have used plugins like pods.io to add extra fields to Wordpress objects. Pods is fantastic, so I was curious to see if something similar existed in Shopify-land.
Shopify uses metafields to store data, but provides no user-friendly frontend to create or edit metafields. That's where Accentuate Custom Fields comes in. It lets you create all kinds of fields for a wide variety of Shopify object types, and provides a clean, no-nonsense user interface which makes data entry a pleasure.
Some of the field types supported include numbers, amounts, textareas, dropdown lists, checkboxes, files (such as images, or documents like PDFs) and colours (with a handy colour picker). There's also reference fields, which let you select an item from a list of Pages, Collections, and other shopify object types.
For developers, it's easy to display the contents of metafields on the frontend of your site with basic liquid tags. The Accentuate Custom Fields system was so useful I was able to build a pseudo page layout system for the theme used on a customer's website, which breaks each page down into blocks, similar to the way the Theme Customizer works in Shopify.
Without a doubt though, the most important feature of this application is not the software itself, but the people behind it. The developers have been very proactive and even suggested ways to make my life easier, given the way I was using their product, and came up with improvements in response to feedback I provided. It's support like that which makes all the difference.
This app is a must-have for just about any shopify store that could use customization. And at the price point it is being offered, including it in any project is a no-brainer. Do yourself a favour and give it a try - you won't be disappointed!
