This app has been amazing!! I used it to show the different monogram options I offer. This app is the easiest I have used so far and the tech support I have received when trying to do custom edits to tailor to my customers is AMAZE! Highly recommend.

We picked shopify over bigcommerce based on this app. Or products have a lot of different options as every product is made to order, without this App our onlineshop with shopify would be useless. The support is first class and always helpful, I cannot recommend this app enough.

We'd highly appreciate it if you could elaborate a bit on your concern.
The app generated cloned products before. But we released a new version recently that has a completely new working principle.
Instead of creating a clone for every product with options that a user adds to the cart, the app now creates variants for those options right inside the base product. Clones are created only if the base product reaches Shopify’s limit of 100 variants per product. In such cases, we create a clone and proceed with adding variants to it, until that clone also reaches 100 variants. Then we repeat the process. But the trick here is that we don’t create duplicate variants. If a variant with the same options already exists, we reuse that variant, instead of creating a new one.
Third-party options apps providers are limited by Shopify in many aspects. We are not allowed to change the original product price at the Checkout and are to look for workarounds.
Some apps generate clones, some create draft orders. We decided to use Shopify product variants functionality.

This app is exactly what I needed to add custom options to our products & allow our customers to input personalisation. There were a few minor issues that the support team were super quick & helpful at solving.
Using the basic Shopify plan for my start-up I had a complex set of product variants for my skirting boards that Shopify alone couldn't cater for. After searching the app market Advance Product Options was the clear choice. I installed it and it achieved exactly what I needed. As well as a great product, the support I've received when I've needed it for a few teething problems was superb with my queries answered quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.
