Provides your customers visibility into where their order is in the shipping process. Just providing this option via a link from my store has instilled the trust of our customers and ultimately increased conversions.
I recently got super frustrated with the lack of being able to track packages in one clean place. Occasionally, I run into package delays or errors and I wished I had a screen that would display all my packages in one clean UI and simultaneously allow me to get a better overview of my stores shipping times. I struggled to find an app or a site that would do this easily.
Then I found AfterShip. It's absolutely fantastic, not only that but even though I'm using the free version, the company added a custom API pretty much just for me so I could track international packages that ship though APC postal logistics.
This app and their customer support is on point and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Because of them, I get up to the minute updates on all my packages and I can notify customers immediately that theres an issue to reduce returns/complaints about possibly slow shipping times. It's wonderful!
The customer service could be faster and more knowledgeable. It felt like they were either managing multiple conversations at once so it took a while to respond, or they were consulting their textbook for every question

Of the hundreds of apps Shopify features, Aftership is one of the best ones out there. All shipment and delivery tracking within one single app. Their app for returns is another great one and I have used it in my store. Installation and implementation is as easy as it can get.

This is a great app. Very useful and cheap!
Some tracking is not updated. I use Thailand Post and even though it says "delivered" on Thailand Post official website, on Aftership it's barely updated anything. This happens to some tracking numbers. Support wasn't useful and said it's correct, even though it clearly isn't. I still like Aftership, but you have to double check your tracking.
This app is amazing it makes my job so much easier.
