With apps like DSers, integrating AliExpress with Shopify is straightforward and user-friendly. The setup process is well-documented and allows for fast product imports and order automation. Sometimes, the app integrations can encounter minor glitches or sync issues, but overall, it's a simple process to set up and manage. Some AliExpress suppliers offer faster shipping options, such as ePacket, which can reduce shipping times to around 7–15 days in certain regions. Standard shipping times can be quite long, often taking 2–4 weeks, or even longer in certain countries. This can result in customer dissatisfaction, especially if expectations aren’t managed well. AliExpress products are often very inexpensive, allowing dropshippers to mark up prices and generate profit. There are no upfront inventory costs, which is a big advantage for startups.
Many suppliers on AliExpress have high ratings, with good customer feedback and reliable service. Established suppliers usually have clear policies and decent quality products.
Since AliExpress is a marketplace with a variety of vendors, not all suppliers are dependable. Some may ship slowly, provide inaccurate product descriptions, or have subpar customer service.
