Apntly has been easy to use and works smoothly for our booking needs. The setup is straightforward and the support team is very responsive. Although there are certain features the app does not offer yet, it still performs well for managing appointments and remains a reliable choice for daily operations.
I chose this app primarily because it integrates directly with Shopify. I was hoping to find a specific calendar/scheduling app within the Shopify ecosystem, but I was glad to come across this one that works natively with the platform.
The setup process was straightforward, and it has allowed me to create multiple inquiry-based services tied directly to products in my store, which is exactly what I needed.
Customer support has also been excellent. Sam was especially helpful and very prompt in responding to my questions, which made the implementation process much smoother.
I’m currently giving the app four stars, with the potential to move to five as additional features are added. One improvement that would make a big difference (for me) is the ability to copy questions from one service to another instead of manually recreating them each time.
Overall, this is a solid scheduling solution for Shopify stores that want an integrated booking experience.
So far so good. Sam is usually pretty quick at responding to questions. I wish there was a way to preview the entire booking process and automated confirmation email while bypassing the charge amount assigned to the product.
Set up for this was pretty easy once I read through a bit of the docs. It works fairly well, replaces the Add to Cart button on the product page, and gives you an option to skip payment if you need to process it elsewhere. All in all, it does pretty ok.
Some things I liked about it
- Quick and easy setup, after subscription purchase
- Simple appointment modal with a decent looking calendar
- Team member, product/service variant and location options
- Developer response to questions was really quick
Known problems/needs
- Needs spell/grammar check on the modals and email
- There's a delay in appointment times updating. It's anywhere from a minute to 3 minutes, though the delay did go down after reducing the maximum timeframe to schedule out from 365 days (default) to 60. If you have a lot of simultaneous traffic, you can get appointments scheduled at the same time. If you don't it's not as much of a concern, and you can reach out to customers to reschedule
There are some calendar integrations that I intend to explore as well, though have yet to set up. I'd consider that a plus
So far, app does exactly what I want it to do. It is a simple, straightforward booking app.
Support is FAB. New features/Updates are often and even customer requests are granted. :)
Our customers and us moved seamlessly from one website/booking app right into appointly without any issues.

I love shopify but I wish they would allow other appointment apps to sync. Appointly is ok. It takes a bit of time to figure it out. Ive seen easier appmt appts. Overall it gets the job done though!
I had some Problems with setting up my appointment at first, but thankfully they have the messenger where the customer service helps you almost any time. Thanks to Sam, i was able to solve my problem.:)
