DO NOT USE THIS APP. I HAD 2 STORES WITH THEM. THE PRODUCTS ARE OVERPRICED AND I PLACED ONE ORDER FOR A CUSTOMER AND IT WAS NEVER SHIPPED SO ORDERED FROM OTHER SUPPLIER APP. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY AND WHEN I CLOSED ONE STORE THEY TRANSFERRED INTO OTHER STORE AS GOODWILL CREDIT NOT TO REFUND MY $20. I CANNOT EVEN USE IT AS I DOWNGRADE PLAN TO REMOVE THIS APP AND THEY STILL REFUSE TO REFUND..I CANNOT ORDER OR USE IT BECAUSE IT SAYS I HAVE TO PAY AND UPGRADE. DO NOT USE THIS APP. I like the functionality of the app, but some of the practices seems unethical. I am unsure if it is the app or suppliers. It takes a great deal of work to put into building websites and plugging these apps in. It is sad to think that you have to beware of these companies that are working with you, while trying to establish something that benefits all involved. Another concern is that many items are very pricey. I think it's a good balance though, because some prices are much lower than the competition.
I will see how it goes.

This app seemed great at first. It was simple to use. However, I soon found thatl all of the items that I added to my store had zero available inventory (basically within hours of adding) causing me to lose many hours of work. I then found none of the quality products that I was searching for were available. They will not refund my money, even though I only accessed the app for a brief period and I have none of their products on my store. Also, you cannot view the products until after you pay for a plan.

We are sorry for your experience and I assure you we are doing our best to improve our products catalog every day and to constantly bring more and more dropshipping suppliers and high-quality items to our platform.
In your case probably the products went out of stock overnight after you imported them to your store and that's why they weren't available anymore.
Unfortunately, that's not something we can control. If the supplier is getting orders from a different retailer, they need to fulfill them and the stock is updated automatically. That's how it works.
But please feel free to explore our catalog as we have over 500,000 dropshipping and wholesale products right now and I'm sure you can find other items to fulfill your needs.
About the 2nd issue that you mentioned, indeed we weren't able to provide you a refund because you used our platform for almost a month, you activated multiple subscription plans, used multiple coupons, and even activated the free trial more than once.
We consider that you had the chance to test our platform for a long period of time, and especially during the free trial you were able to cancel the subscription for free, but you didn't and you continued to use our platform even after that.
Again, we are sorry for your experience with us. We will continue to build the most advanced dropshipping & wholesale platform in the world and we hope you will be ready to test our app again soon.

I spent so much time and effort on AppScenic, sourcing products, adding them to my store, re-writing the descriptions, and doing market research. I decided that I would be fine with getting 0% discount to start (as their premium plan provides a better discount), and downgraded to their free plan. After 1 month of doing all of this work however, AppScenic just deleted all of my products from my store. I had an entire campaign ready to go including influencers, email campaigns, social promo (as I already have a community), but all of the products are just completely gone.
I reached out to customer service and their resolution to get my products back is to pay an extra $47 and redo all of the product descriptions. If they had provided some other solution or cared at all, I may have considered redoing all of the work.
During this process, I did some digging and found their premium products on other apps for free as well.

We are sorry to hear about your experience, but as our customer support already informed you, you can not have products pushed to the store with a free account or process any orders.
So once you canceled your subscription and downgraded your account to the free plan, you also agreed to delete the products from your store.
When you click on the Cancel button, there is a big popup that opens, and you are asked to confirm one more time that by canceling the subscription, all products from our platform will be removed from your store.
It's stated very clearly on our pricing and subscription page that with the free account, you can't push products to your store.
Also, I'm afraid that once the products are deleted from your store, there is no way to recover their custom descriptions, titles, or reviews, as we do not have access to that data anymore.
You should have edited the products in our platform to be able to push them back to the store and restore their descriptions.
So, again, we are very sorry for this situation, and it's very sad that you can not recover your custom descriptions, but I'm afraid it's out of our control now.

Flooded with POD products, and dropshippers selling to dropshippers like its a dropshipping meta, while pretending to be a manufacturer or supplier. I have matched up several "suppliers" with their other dropshipping websites just by trying to research product pricing. They don't even offer a 1% discount to the price they, themselves are selling it retail at.
When I inquired with live chat about the issues of legit suppliers I was told to search better? and was provided with a screen shot with arrows to the search bar like I was an idiot.
I asked why the product listings were flooded with PODs, if I wanted POD products to sell I would go with a POD app. I was told by CSR that POD listings were allowed because then people don't have to make their own designs but that because of the POD aspect ontop of the AppScenic dropshipping they would end up more expensive then a straight POD? Well yea, I would be buying a POD item at retail to resell, I can do that now without paying fees to AppScenic and then just resell that...
I had found enough products from a legit supplier for one niche store, but the unhelpfulness, defensiveness for pointing out a legitimate issue, and all around troll/mocking behaviour of the chat CSR has led to me canceling my PRO subscription. I had initially planned 3 months before I made any hard decisions on staying or going but it's one thing to have a scummy supplier problem and acknowledge it and maybe list improvement plans or review/audit schedules, but to down right deny and act like everything is amazing and to gaslight your customer is not a company for me, could've just said you were working on it but I get the impression no one cares because you still got my $68.

You probably didn't check our app's pricing policy before you installed it because it's very clear on our Shopify app's page how this works.
After doing a little research, we found out that you installed our app on February 5th, and then you activated the 7-day free trial on February 8th.
Once the trial expired, a billing cycle started, and Shopify Billing charged you according to their billing schedule.
We have no control over how and when Shopify Billing charges you, and this is actually how all Apps work on the Shopify Marketplace.
If you got charged more than you should have, or you find any transaction from Shopify that you don't recognize, please get in touch with Shopify support ASAP.
(Again, we don't handle the transactions made through Shopify Billing.)
And one last thing, both our Pricing Page (https://appscenic.com/pricing/) and our Shopify's App page (https://apps.shopify.com/appscenic) are very clear that this is not a Free app, and you need a paid subscription to use it. You also got a 7-day free trial; during the trial, you can cancel the subscription anytime without getting charged.

I have been using this app for few weeks now. Decent selection of products, fast shipping - exactly what I need to drop the Aliexpress.
very limited selection of products and those are way overpriced. i do not believe for one second that ill be able to make a sale at those prices. waste of subscription money on my part

Very good app, I liked the way it is built. The only lets say less ideal is the fact that they don't yet have paypal for orders. They said it will be ready in the next few weeks...
** update 2, I did receive a refund after threats were exchanged. From the little I got a chance to test the app works as it should (but I've never made a product from it live on my site or sold anything from it for transparency.
*update 1: after being charged for the first month when I knew I'd cancelled on the 7th day of my trial I asked for a refund and got sent a screenshot showing that I canceled the app 7 days after installing but at 8.12am, "but you installed it at 7.54am".
It doesn't matter apparently that Shopify just tells you the DATE your trial expires on, or that we are all in different time zones in e-commerce. I "used" their app for 18min over the 168hr trial period so too bad. Just a warning to make sure you cancel on day 6 if you are going to.
