When the App works correctly, it's great! The customer service team is prompt in replying to questions or queries. And the app is a great way to automate the subscription process through Shopify. However.....

In the last 6 months we have numerous issues with subscriptions failing, changes being made in the back end of the system without our knowledge resulting in customers being over charged (More than 30+ subscriptions for the 2nd year in a row), renewal prices being changed, product type mysteriously changing to physical instead of digital. The response from support team has been varied. Often resulting in us waiting days as they discuss with developers to solve issues.

I don't know if I would reccomend this app.

Appstle has been an excellent partner in providing added value to our customers via our PortalPass+ membership program, and our normal Rewards program available to non-premium members via Appstle Loyalty.

Along with providing excellent products, they provide excellent customer services that helps us out rather quickly and fully.

This app has been really great for growing our business online. The team is available to assist with any questions 24/7 with great response time and they include a video of how they fix your issue, so that you can learn for the future. Very great support team!!

5 stars for most amazing customer service! Out of the box, we had a few hiccups integrating both with our Expanse Theme and with recent Shopify updates. But this team is so wonderfully responsive and helpful that they went above and beyond to make things work! It has taken some time, yes, there were some kinks, but please be patient with them as they will give great effort researching and fixing integration issues! And I learned much along the way!

Hussain was super helpful and took great patience to deal with issues setting up my membership plan. I've used other membership apps before which could not meet my requirements. Appstle Membership app is fantastic and I would recommend anyone with memberships on their site to use this app!

We have had major outages THREE times within a single week while scaling, causing severe damage to our business. Each time, members couldn’t access their perks, new sign-ups weren’t processed, and our core subscription functionality was broken for HOURS. We had to pause marketing campaigns, and customer complaints flooded in—all because Appstle simply did not work.

The worst part? It was the SAME BUG every time. After the first incident, support assured us it was “fixed permanently.” A few days later, it happened again. Exact same issue. Another promise that it was fixed for good. Guess what? It happened AGAIN today.

Support is fast to respond, but it's an endless loop of frustration. Each time, I have to explain the same problem from scratch, wasting precious time while they ask irrelevant questions instead of just checking their own logs. They claim they “escalate to developers,” but there’s zero transparency, no clear root cause analysis, and no real preventative action. Just empty phrases and broken promises.

This app is NOT reliable for serious businesses. If you rely on memberships or subscriptions, expect outages, lost revenue, and a support team that makes you run in circles. Absolutely unacceptable!

Chat for support was great, each time I needed help. It was available 24/7, and they always helped answer all my questions, as well as troubleshoot my issues. I was easily able to get things fixed quickly, and appreciated that I didn't have to wait for an email reply the next day or so, like I have to with another app we use.
