Please don’t waste your time with this app. Their support is unresponsive—no replies, chat is always offline, and they make you to email for support never respond back. If you run into issues, it’s a sign to switch to a different app. Honestly, don’t even bother starting with this one!

I installed the MLV Auto Currency Switcher with the expectation that my customers would be able to pay in their local currencies, a basic yet critical feature for any global store. Sadly, that functionality is non-existent at checkout, which defeats the very purpose of the app.
After reaching out, I spoke with Yashika, who was courteous and helpful. She clarified that Shopify restricts currency changes during checkout, but never talked about a solution to fix this or even made an attempt. Offering a $2 discount for life isn't a solution.
Paying for this app feels like buying a car with a sunroof, premium leather seats, and great mileage and other features but without an engine. What’s the point of all the flashy features if the core function doesn’t deliver and yet pay for it?
Yes, you offered me a lifetime discount of some odd $2, but honestly, that’s not the point. I only asked about a discount because I was trying to justify paying for a tool that fails at its most essential task. But yet I supported your app and asked for a genuine price to pay for monthly.
To add to the disappointment, Harun from your team asked me to leave a positive review, even after I voiced my dissatisfaction. That’s not just unethical, it’s disheartening. I support small businesses and understand the struggle, but pressuring a customer to alter honest feedback is never okay.
If your team knows something is hurting the customer, don’t just acknowledge the pain,do something to fix it. Instead of offering discounts, work with Shopify to create a real solution. Make your customers feel heard, respected, and valued.
Because in the end, customers may forget what they bought, but they’ll never forget how you made them feel.
Final Thought: If you take care of your customers, your customers will take care of your business. I had high hopes, but this experience left me extremely dissatisfied.

I’d like to sincerely apologize for the frustration you’ve experienced with the MLV Auto Currency Switcher app, particularly with the currency selection at checkout. We completely understand how vital this feature is for any global store, and we want to assure you that we’re doing our best to provide a seamless experience within the limits set by Shopify.
Unfortunately, due to Shopify's current restrictions, it is not possible to modify the currency during the checkout process for any currency app on Shopify. This limitation is out of our control, and we wanted to ensure you’re fully informed about this.
Additionally, our app is compatible with Shopify Payments and Shopify Multi currency feature. If you enable Shopify Payments in your store you will be able to use the app at checkout as well. Please work with Shopify and get this enabled for your store.

I do not see it on the bottom of my page at all why is that. It shows that it is installed but nothing is there

this app completely wrecked my websites coding. The staff would not help at all. I had to pay someone to fix it all. I would not suggest it to anyone!
Their support have completely ruined my website!!! Do not get any customisations from them as they are completely incompetent - now my website is slow and full of glitches along with my banner not displayed correctly. This company is honestly fraudulent - they will say a change has been implemented when it clearly hasn't and just send photoshopped screenshots. I will now have to pay someone to fix the problem they have created. They've done edits to my site I haven't even asked for. I don't understand how this app is even permitted to be on here. For the love of god do not download this app!!!!
Also it looks like they are flooding the reviews page with fake reviews so that the negative one's aren't visible. Shopify need to do something about this

Please see the note from the shopify expert i had to hire because the app was causing issues on my website which meant that customers were not able to make purchases. The ADD to CART BUTTON did not work. As a result I paid 90$ for the shopify expert as well as loosing sales. I a very unhappy about this.
We found that this app didn't work as expected, when we contacted support, and gave them video evidence of the app not working, they told us it was. We're not interested in this type of work.
Does'nt work for what we wanted to do : supress VAT for extra-european customers. (even if the support of the app said : "its' okay" ;-))
