Great App, definitely the best in its category. It allows for complete customization of notifications and frontend options. We specially value that the notification e-mails make it to most inboxes in comparison with other similar apps which don't. Plus, customer service is outstanding.
My Shopify theme wasn't already supported, but a quick email to support and they had it up and running quickly! They were even kind enough to move and change the button on my product page to get it exactly how I wanted it. My customers are very excited for text alerts when items come back in stock, and started signing up for them right away!
30 Day Update: We are still loving this app! It’s helping me plan my orders to be sure I get enough of those in demand products, streamline our restock alerts, and save time by automating them!

App has done beautifully for me but I have an issue with a Shopify update on my theme that now shows the customer the 'tag' "bis-hidden" for this app. App support can't fix it. And Shopify referred me to the app support as they can't fix it. So I am shopping for a new back in stock app. Keep an eye on your search boxes on the front end for this issue as it is confusing to customers.
Awesome app that saves you the time of creating a back-order list for products that you cant seem to have enough of. The team is very helpful and responds quickly to any and all questions you throw at them. They get my business!
We handcraft our products and often go out of stock. Back In Stock has been huge in informing us about what our customers want and when, thus guiding our production decisions, as well as automatically notifying our customers when an item they want is available. It's invaluable being able to know exactly what your customers want, and then having a direct pipeline to customers that are already ready to buy. Plus, Back In Stock is easy and intuitive to use. Easily my best investment for my website.
This app works fine but is priced wrong. It should be priced by number of emails vs a monthly limit. The way most stores will use it will hit the limit every month making the lowest plan worthless. When a product goes out of stock for us, it is out of stock for a month or two. We may not send an email for many months because a shipment hasn't arrived. However, once a container arrives a ton of products get back in stock, there are 500 people waiting and we always hit the email limit. So we can go 4 months paying $20 for no emails and then when we really need this app, it throttles us down and we can only send out 100 emails and need to pay more? It would be nice if we could just roll over our unused emails each month. We switched to a free back in stock app that is just as good and has no limits.

I have only used this app for 2 weeks and it has already paid off. Not only has it brought me potentially lost sales, it also cut down on the amount of inventory re-stock email inquiries I was constantly getting. Highly recommended!
Excellent app. Has generated a ton of revenue for us. It just works; does what it needs to do. And does it well.

Very easy to set up, had great structure and layout and worked immediately with our Shopify theme (Focal). I didn't give it 5 stars due to the inability to customize the button on the product page, which I feel should be part of the total solution. As our company is based in Norway, I would have also liked to be able to set the default country code to Norway such that the visiting customer doesn't have to browse to find their country code. However, I reached out to support and they gave me excellent help in tweaking this.
Therefore from a support perspective 5 stars, but 4 from a product perspective.
