We just started using it and are thrilled so far. It was easy to set up and customize. Our customers are very happy with it since we have some high demand products that frequently go out of stock. Being able to use a push notification, SMS, or email is nice. The way it's presented on the product page is nicely done.
We have had Backinstock installed in our store for a long time and I must say that it works very well.
But above all I will mention that there is unbeatable technical service. They solved our problems with the new Google rules for emails (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) in a very short time.
The support is some of the best I have ever experienced from a platform. Any issue you have is resolved within 24 hours. The platform itself is great as well.
We've used Back in Stock for several years now. It has all the functionality you need without trying to be something more. So many apps try to solve too many things. This is one app that gets it right.

We have frequent stock-outs of certain items and this app has done a great job helping us capture those high intent buyers and bring them back when inventory arrives. The app provides lots of great data and is very intuitive to use. It's probably the Shopify app that I interact with the most actually.
Quick reply from side of the suppport service about questions of the "Sold out" button and the relevant Shopify Theme. Support team also thinks round the corner ... not very often nowadays. Yet I cannot say anything about the feature itself, as we had no need for it, yet.
Works great, never had an issue and generates lost revenue.
