We use the app from day one as we have many products and different staff adding them on the website. We are reassured to know that in case of mistakes we can easily recall the previous version of the product's description. As we are using HTML tabs, it is very useful if someone mess up with the code while writing the description : 1 click and the HTML code is back. Also, knowing that we have a backup of the themes is very reassuring as we work a lot on them and sometimes have conflict with apps. If we do not identify the bugs immediately, it is almost impossible to fix it via the 'previous version' feature of Shopify. With Rewind , we can fully recall the website until the version with the bug fixed and so identify the issue. It will be almost impossible with Shopify integrated feature because we will have to do it page after page...and in the correct order. We love the app, it is more just than a tool you will use at the critical moment. It is also affordable and suggest you to go for the plan with the 'live backup feature'. BTW, we strongly suggest you to try to recall pages, themes, products when you install the app so you are sure it is working and you know what to do the 'D-day'. Better to be prepared than adding stress when your website is in trouble ;)

A very easy and friendly user interface. We have many interns and employees working on the website and it is reassuring to know that we have a backup in case they change critical settings or erase something. Since we have the app we are more keen to delegate and this freedom give ideas to our team to improve our website as they know there is a safety net (we told them what was not saved too ! :) Always keep in mind Shopify is easy to use, yes, but not magic and does included historic of versions ro backup feature ! Congrats to the dev, it is affordable and simple to use.
Very easy to setup and such a lifesaver. It is literally one click to setup and then the job is done automatically. We already needed to restore some of our products after an error during a massive CSV import/change. Price is really affordable. Love the piece of mind.

I am new to shopify. I came from Wordpress/Woocommere and was looking for an all-in-one migration and back up-app like you have in Wordpress.
I tested this one but the backup did not contain all the settings I needed.
In the 7th day of my trial, there was suddenly the bill of 79 euros. Oops, I was planning to cancel, but not clear how to stop the subscription. I contacted shopify, but now by coincidence I was too late.
In fact I do not need the app for the upcoming month at all, because my shop is pending and not ready to go online yet.
I contacted Rewind, told them all of this and asked for a refund. Their response was, I was out of the trial period, so they can just charge me.
I think this was not really emphatic, rules are rules, but sometimes people are beginners and make mistakes. I answered them to reconsider, because I read previous reviews that they do sometimes refund if someone is not satisfied. I am still waiting for their answer. If things change I will update.
Straightforward integration and great support. I wanted to download a copy of my backup files and the support team helped me straight away.

Rewind Backups is a fantastic app for Shopify stores. The peace of mind you get by having installed it definitely worth it.

One of the worst backup app, Hard to navigate, to do everything you need to contact support, which is never available. They respond you in 2-3 days. Even to export your backup data you need to contact support, Highly disappointed.

With Rewind, we can feel safe that our store data is always being backed up. We back up our theme code with GitHub, but didn't have a way to back up our products, collections, etc. Rewind provides a hassle-free service that does exactly what we need!

I would recommend Rewind because it works great and very easy to use. But, not less importantly, I got excellent customer service from Shelby who as good as held my hand through some challenges I was facing and made sure I was getting the best service and value for money!
Excellent app for backing up our Shopify websites data that isn't done by Shopify! Easy to use, runs like clockwork, and has great support when, rarely, needed.

Rewind is a life saver. Wish everyone not to have to use it anytime but once you have you are all set.
After investing 100s of hours into my shops it feels really good to have fresh backups of everything. Im vary happy with the Rewind app user friendly and nice UI and the excellent and prompt support I get.
Backups may not seem helpful at first glance, however it becomes your only savior when things have gone sideways. Just like insurance, it's not useful until you need to use it - and when you do, you'll be glad that you made the investment. This app is very easy to use - you practically don't have to do anything for it to help save your orders, customers, products, photos, and settings of your website. Their team is also very responsive and friendly - they provide actual customer service where you feel that they value your business.
Accidentally deleted our blog posts and was able to restore them! I contacted support and they helped me right away. The help and support is amazing and they even followed-up to make sure everything was good. Great and friendly customer service!!!

The app you hope you never have to use! Set up is seamless and you can access your regular backups whenever. As Kurt Elster would say, this is the first app you should ever install on your store.

App used to work and it has stopped working. We are back and forth with customer service for the last 1 week and no luck. What is the point of paying an expensive fee and the dev team doesn't have a clue?

I luckily haven't needed to use REWIND to restore my site and data but knowing that for $10 a month I'm covered, its great! The support team is helpful and available. This is the cheapest insurance I pay for. Thank you Rewind!

This app does not rollback the things it needs to roll back- we have tried to rollback 3 different times and it does not restore blogs correctly nor does it restore product quantity correctly. We are not waiting around to find out what else it does not restore correctly- we can restore our items better than this app. Additionally, we are not "discussing" this either as we cannot possibly be the first to complain about or have these issues.
My name is Maura and I work on the product team at Rewind. I am sad to read that you've had a negative experience with our app. I can assure you that we help many merchants recover lost data daily and we boast a high rate of successful restores. In the event that restore results are not optimal, we work 1:1 with the merchant to get them back on their feet.
Oftentimes, a "correct" restore is different between stores. For example, some merchants want Rewind to restore product quantity, while others prefer we don't. We're actively working on making our app more adaptable to varied restore expectations, and I would personally welcome the opportunity to learn about your restore expectations.
We have recently being having some bugs with our theme file and this app has enabled us to edit everything with the reassurence that a restore is only a click away.

Multiple times now my Shopify store has had the strangest problems. Recently all the products in the store had their second product image disappear. Ive got more than 2000 products so scrambling to find the images and re-upload would have been hell. For some odd reason the other day I looked up this app and downloaded it. Used it twice ever since and its been nothing less than a godsend. Backups aren't a joke. This app takes it seriously. Highly recommended.

I installed this app a few days ago and it is such an excellent app.I had lost some products o my store and could restore them all with a click of a button.
There are plenty of reasons to like this app. 1. Backing up is a seamless and easy experience.
2. Having your store properly backed up grants a sense of security and puts your mind at ease when making edits or changes.
