I’ve used this great product for many years and always impressed with excellent suppport team especially Brittney.
If you have thousands of products, do not rely on this.
Our store has thousands of products, I accidentally deleted some, so i used this app to restore all products to a date before I deleted the products.
For some reason this app changed the assigned variant image for hundreds if not thousands of products to display the wrong image. I havent been able to check how many products this app has messed up.
Update: in response to their response. I went back and forth with their support for a while, the end result was them telling me they could not reproduce the isssue, no fix.

We got this to feel a sense of security in case anything ever happened to our store. However, the one time we need to actually use a backup, we find out that they don't actually backup metafields, despite it being listed on the pricing cards above. Metafields are crucial to our store. After talking with support, I understand that they've said that the Shopify API doesn't allow them to back this up. But then don't list it and have me feeling surprised when the backup isn't there.

I was ready to publish a batch of significant change to our Shopify theme on a Saturday afternoon, but didn't want to do it without some type of a backup/rollback protocol in place. I started to research Shopify backup software, and found glowing reviews of Rewind. But I had some technical questions as to whether it would fit our needs. I sent an email to customer support, and was shocked to get an answer within the hour on a Saturday! Brittney of Rewind was able to answer all of my questions, and offered to help with the setup process (which was so simple no help was required). I got Rewind installed and configured, and was able to confidently publish the theme changes with peace of mind that I could easily roll back if necessary. Thank you, Brittney, and thank you, Rewind!
