After adding this app we felt it was a little more complicated to set up than others. Also, when a visitor initiates a chat, you cannot simply reply. You need to go into a tab and then click on the visitor and then initiate a chat from there. From here, after you click into the chat, your welcome text is sent ... not automatically when a visitor asks a question and they are waiting for you to respond. This complicates things a little. Also, after a visitor asks their first question, there is no-where for them to add to this if they need to add to their first message. They have to wait for you to reply or initiate the chat from your end. The app on iOS was glitchy and extremely slow and stopped working. Customization is limited as you cannot change the link colors in Quick Answers. They are set to blue. This being said, customer service is VERY GOOD. They were very helpful and tried to help us set it all up although we had already spent hours on it and by that time had had enough. if we had taken them up on the offer, maybe all would have been ok :) I think in time and with some updates this app will be amazing but for now it is not for us. Do note: If you uninstall YOU WILL need to contact Shopify to delete some fragmented coding as the widget does not delete when uninstalling.

We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced while using our app. We believe that there might have been some misunderstandings regarding its functionality. Although we tried our best to explain the situation, it appears that we were unable to provide a clear explanation.

One of the key issues was the accidental closure of the ACD (Automatic Chat Distribution) button, which prevented the chat from opening directly. We were unaware that the app on your mobile device was not functioning properly. Our dedicated technical team is more than happy to assist you in resolving this matter.

We regret to inform you that, at this stage, customization of the chatbot question link color is not possible. Additionally, if you uninstall BestChat, the code will be completely deleted. Please note that a few of our customers have encountered similar issues, as it sometimes takes time for Shopify to refresh changes. We appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter.
