I have used it for approximately 3 weeks, It blocked many unwanted orders but also I still kept getting orders in so I chatted with them and they suggested to use their beta option that blocks bot checkouts. 1 week later with almost 0 sales and 2k+ on ad spent ( usually averaging 1,5K revenue) I realized it was blocking 95% of the people that they were trying to checkout.
Thousands of dollars in lost revenue because their beta version did not work with my theme. thanks but no thanks

The app is blocking so many other apps from my website, and we just can not fix it. We tried to contact you for so long, but no luck. Would love to change this review to 5 stars, but for now it looks impossible.

Totally useless can't block vpn and bots on checkout. If scammer is accessing your store from checkout they failed to block him.

This app doesn't work.
We signed up for the Enterprise tier.... but we still get bot abandoned checkouts and page views.
Not worth the time or money.

We’d like to clarify that on Shopify, the checkout page is a protected area, meaning no third-party app (including Blockify) can fully prevent visitors or bots from entering checkout or creating abandoned checkouts. This is a platform-level limitation across the entire Shopify ecosystem, not specific to our app or plan.
What Blockify can do is help validate and restrict risky order placements and reduce bot impact through rules and filters, but abandoned checkouts cannot be completely blocked by any app.

Update (same day). I realised I wasn’t getting sales and checked the website and you can’t click anything. Have had to turn app embed off in theme settings as app in Shopify is broken. It’s caused me lost sales. Updated review to 1*
I have been using this app for a while now and although it has been okay some changes lately and app issues have crept in to compel me to rate lower now.
Recently the devs changes the visitor view and removed the ISP from the main area. Now you have to click through to each IP hit. This is a bad oversight. Today the app doesn’t even work on the Shopify app. No way to even contact them. This has happened before.

The online chat support is very slow and unable to adequately address questions or concerns. The app itself isn’t very intuitive or clear to use. My goal was simply to exclude certain countries from accessing my website, as I noticed a sudden surge in traffic and suspected bot activity. I blocked all the countries I could identify, but unfortunately, the app failed to do what it was supposed to. I have uninstalled it and will search for a more effective solutions.

I received several SCAM customer sign ups and two fraud orders. It is set to block all of this and the app did not deliver. 10 out of 10 would not recommend!

Edit - 2/4. The App Seemingly just stopped blocking selected countries and now I get a lot of spam traffic.

I installed Blockify to manage bot traffic, but it ended up doing more harm than good. It mistakenly treated legitimate search engine crawlers (like Googlebot) as threats and blocked them. As a result, the blocking screen was indexed instead of my actual product and collection pages, which led to a major drop in my search visibility.
According to Shopify Support:
"Blockify is treating legitimate search engine crawlers as threats and showing them the blocking screen, which then gets indexed instead of your actual product pages and collections."
"This explains why disabling the app a week ago didn't help – the damage was already done to your search rankings, and recovery takes time even after fixing the root cause."
This issue has had a serious impact on my store’s organic traffic and overall SEO health. Even after uninstalling the app, recovery is slow and ongoing.
I do not recommend this app unless you're fully aware of the risks and have a way to control how it handles search engine bots.
