I love the control that BOLD Subscriptions gives to customers for managing their subscriptions. However, once subscribed to a product, BOLD will continue placing Subscription orders for that product even if that product is put in Draft mode, Archived, out of inventory etc. Their suggestions was for me to manually examine every subscription and cancel each subscription for any customers I could find that have that product. We never have the same coffee for more than 4 or 5 months and swap old ones out for new origins all the time. I was hoping that BOLD would give the customer a notification that the product they are subscribed to is no longer in inventory and give them a link to manage their subscription... It's already got the function of allowing a customer to swap or cancel or suspend ...but no way to prevent a subscription from just continuing to run, even when there is no product to ship. I hope there is another Subscription app that gives better control over this type of situation.
Customer service was great! The app works fine but it does need some adjustments. They just integrated with Shopify payments so customization is limited at the moment. However, this counts for every other subscription app on Shopify too.

Not quite as user friendly as it could be for non-discount subscriber products. (i.e. monthly subscription boxes, product of the month club, etc.)

Had a good chat with customer service (Laurel and Sid). Unfortunately unable to resolve shipping prices on subscriptions due to Shopify automatically defaulting to lowest shipping rates. Overall good system though. Cheers.

I have not used the app yet, but the customer service so far has been incredible! Waiting for them to install my app and then i can give better feedback
We tried to make things work with Bold Subscriptions, but it took about a month for them to respond to our migration request, and we had problems with code integration. After about a month and a half of trying we've decided to move on to a different app, which were able to get it working within the same day.

Gone from being an awesome app to complete rubbish with the v2 launch. I've been told after migrating from version 1 to version 2 that my store is no longer compatible with their app and I need to hire a coder to make my store compatible. I can't convey how painful it has been dealing with these guys, this process has caused me tons of pissed of customers, most of my products are no longer compatible with this app and i'm still getting to pay for it. This is after they confirmed my "eligibility" to use the v2 platform. Who ever designed the v2 well done in screwing up a part of my business and now I have to find an app that will actually work.

Customer Service is insane. Immediately responsive and incredibly helpful! I couldn't figure out how to customize some of the widget components and Gustav helped build EXACTLY what i needed.

Chintak did a great job of explaining how to solve my issue after migrating to the new subscription app. Unfortunately the shipping rates were all screwed up after the migration and I am still waiting for a resolution after over 2 weeks.
