I've been using this app with Shopify for almost 10 years, and I love it. The customer service is the best. They are so patient and work me through even the most basic stuff to make my booking system work well for my students. I've never had a bad experience with their customer service team. Shout out D'Angelo!

Amazing customer service team. Always able to tackle the issue and point me in the right direction while making understanding easy. D'Angelo has been the best to work with! Also the app easily integrates onto your shopify store making this a seamless experience.

Fantastic customer service. As soon as you message with the targetted issue, they will work on that, get the main issue and solve it for you or reply with the solution. I have gotten in touch with their customer service and Sisco is always on it. Thank you lots mr.

BTA has enabled our store to offer rentals to our clients. It has most of the features we were looking for. I do wish they offered API access to any paid account because there are some features that we didn't really need, and the plan with the API access is more than we need for now.
The widget that they offer for booking is super nice.
One feature that I would like would be for my customers to select one rental date at the store and have it apply to all of their selections without having to enter in the rental date on every product.

Thank you for your great review! It is the team's intention to make it possible for the app to facilitate 3rd party app integrations. This should include some level of API access that would be available on some specific plans. Currently, the API access is available on the Business plan, due to the level of support needed for its implementation. We have a lot in the pipeline including making BTA's widgets available for non-Shopify websites. The future is going to be eventful!

D'Angelo was so helpful on the chat for support! We had an *issue* which was just our inability to read and he was so patient and understanding looking into the problem, which helped me realize that the problem was not actually anything wrong. Normally, apps with this level of customer service and support have 5 stars from me on the assistance alone, however, the app is wonderful too! So much functionality, so intuitive to use, BookThatApp has made managing our one-and-done classes along with our multi-session classes easy and less daunting.

The reminder functionality is seamless and easy to use and really helps us have a one stop shop for running the classes portion of our business. I love that we were able to set up reminders for both our customers who signed up for our classes and the instructors teaching the classes. No more panicking at 10:00 the night before a class trying to figure out for an instructor if they had any students sign up.

I also love how easy the app makes it to add dates to existing classes. Many of our instructors have classes that get offered over and over again. With past systems, there was a lot of effort wasted on copying the class and setting it up as effectively a new class every time it was offered. Now, we just add dates to the already established class product. Piece of cake. It saves me so much time in running the behind the scenes parts of the business,

This app is literally everything our shop needed it to be and more!

10/1 Update- the team got back to me the following morning and resolved my issue and my husbands reset password came through later that night so we were able to get in and continue. I have updated my review to reflect the quick resolution. I do think there is some work to be done on being more user friendly especially with schedules when you have multiple coaches. There aren’t any videos and an easy way to handle multiple coaches and also have a resource as well the coach would be using. I got it figured out but it took a lot of trial and error but not exactly how I need it. Will continue to work through and reach out to the staff for help.

Frustrating, as of today, I am not able to log in. I tried the forget my password and its showing my email is not valid. I just received emails from them yesterday. I have previously had issues (last month) with them having a bug where people couldn't check out. I originally thought it was shopify but their support team let me know they were working with Bookthatapp to resolve as it was something from their end. So, two months in a row, I have had issues that is preventing me from receiving bookings or being able to add/edit bookings (today). I submitted a ticket today but unfortunately, there isn't any number to call for support, so I had to submit a ticket.

As we discovered on our chat, the issue you faced was due to no account existing for you in the app. There was only 1 account that we discovered to be that of your business' developer. Since this discovery, I was able to create an account for you, which you have confirmed that you were successful in completing the setup and signing in. If you ever have any issues, you are free to chat in. If we miss your chat, it will convert into a ticket and we will have a response for you within an hour to 12 hours; depending on the time of day the chat request was submitted.

As for the issue you mentioned with Checkout, this happened due to a change Shopify made. They had the status setup on their status page for a short while. You can review Shopify statuses at https://shopifystatus.com. There were also forums in the Shopify community from other 3rd party app developers who were also affected. Here's one such blog: https://community.shopify.com/c/technical-q-a/post-locale-cart-add-required-parameter-missing-or-invalid-items/td-p/2743030. Sometimes it's tricky getting the facts from 1st tier Shopify agents, which is a struggle we also have. However, when we connected with their "Partners" Support agents, we were able to confirm with them that they made changes to the "fetch" API which our app uses. Since this issue, we have made changes to how the app uses and depends on this API. So, we should not have another repeat of the issue should Shopify make any random updates without notifying us.

Since our last conversation, you promised to revise your review to highlight the facts that we discussed in regards to your experience that the review was based on. The revision would be greatly appreciated 🙂! As long as the details accurate, that would be wonderful. It would help to give our existing customers and potential customers, your accurate experience.

I would recommend this app because of the exceptional customer support they provide. I run a B&B and need BTA to sync with external calendars from another platform. I find the language and navigating complicated but I contact the support team and they ALWAYS resolve the problem for me quickly and expertly.
