I've had a great experience with BoxBuilder. It works really well for my build your own gift boxes. I like the wide selection of features and options, they're all are quite logical and easy to set up yourself. When I've struggled on my own, the Support team has been helpful and quick. The layout on my site looks professional and is easy to navigate for my customers.

I was VERY disappointed in their customer service. I started trying to get the app integrated into my online shop on March 27 and still did not have things working smoothly by May 2nd. We were up against a wall as we wanted to launch for Mother's Day and needed time to market the new product line and build awareness.
On May 3rd, after not hearing back from them and having no resolve, I deleted the app and went with a different one that I had up and running by the next day with no issues.
We lost sales and too many hours of my time working through the issues with this app. When I requested a refund for the month of April, because I was not able to use their product due to issues, I was told that their policy would not allow me to be refunded. Very unhappy and disappointed.

I'm disappointed that we couldn't meet your needs. I recognize and can understand why you'd feel frustrated after this experience.
However, I have to admit that things look a little different from my perspective. My support team did their best to assist you, and after reviewing the entire case in detail, I believe they did their job well. As for the refund request, I was the person who denied that request, and upon reflection, I got that wrong. I will follow up with you by email to discuss further.
I'm aware you chose another solution for your business. I wish we could've figured out a way to keep you on board as a customer, but I do hope the other solution works out well for you and Swon & Company manages to thrive.

I recently used the Box Builder app to create bundle boxes for my Shopify store and I must say, I am very impressed with the app and the support team behind it. They were extremely helpful in fixing the issues I had with the size label, mouse cursor and item showing up in the catalog. I appreciate the quick and efficient response of the support team.
Overall, I found Box Builder to be the best option among all the bundle box apps available on Shopify. It was easy to use, had a lot of customization options, and most importantly, provided a great user experience for my customers.

Great interface, terrible support. Been waiting four days for a response to why they're not showing fully on our website. With it coming to the weekend we are swapping to a new app. Very disappointing as the attention to detail on the interface is great, the customer service is not.

We have been using it for our e-commerce site for 8 months now and we are delighted with the experience. Some improvements can be made to optimize the customer experience to the maximum. But the reactivity and the availability of the team allow us to answer the various problems encountered. I will start by saying that we aren't live with this on our site, so I can't yet speak to how well it works over time. I am hopeful that it will be a great solution for us and hope that the team is able to work through the glitches and get their app humming along consistently.
That being said, I tested out at least 30 similar type apps to try to find one that could do what we needed and this one is the ONLY one that checked all of the boxes for us. Some features that made this one stand out are:
1) the ability to show all of the variants individually as selections
2) the ability to select products by collection
3) the ability to create different selection criteria for each step of the box/kit/bundle creation. For instance, on step 1, a person can select 1 of the options, but on step 2, they can select 1-4 of the options
4) the ability to create forms that collect information throughout the box/kit/bundle building process
5) the ability to create customized tiered pricing depending on the items selected.
6) the ability to manage the product/variant inventory and have those updates reflect in the kit/box/bundles
I have experienced some glitches as I've been testing it, but migrating to their newest "Simple & Fast" option did solve the primary issue I was facing. The support team has been very responsive, respectful, and helpful as I've had questions or run into problems. So I am hopeful this will be an integral part of our new website and help things run smoother on the front end and the backend.
