However since using Shopify, orders are seamlessly downloaded and the whole work process is simplified. It works seamlessly with order and customer information appearing in our Brightpearl system very quickly and shipping information such as tracking numbers fed back into shopify and emailed to customers without any issues. Hi Goulk,
I think the word "seamless" is a great one to apply to our integration with Shopify! We appreciate the positive review!
Thank you

We have been working with Brightpearl for a number of years now for our backend systems. When we migrated our company website to Shopify in 2021 we used this integration created by the Brightpearl team and I'm please to say: it just works. We have never had any problem with the app and all our orders and refunds flow between the two systems seamlessly.
Hi Oliver,
Thank you for the feedback! Hearing that "it just works" is one of the best things we can hear! I am glad you are satisfied with the product and the functionality it brings to our customers.
Easy app setup, a lot of variability without any development works. Data sync runs as expected.
Hi,
It's great to hear you are enjoying our product! I'm glad to hear you found setup easy!

I would not recommend Brightpearl.
I was told it was an all in one solution. I was integrating 3 stores into bright pearl from Shopify that share inventory out of the same warehouse. After the sales pitch of a rebate and high pressure sales techniques I ended up signing a contract in the last day of the promotional period. This was back in May of 2024.
It’s now November 2024 and we still do not have a live system. The training alone was scheduled for over 3 months.
The training is a joke. It could take 2 to 3 days to complete training but they drag it out over the course of several months so they can bill you to make back there rebate imo. Rebate is only good and has to be requested after go live date. This was never verbally mentioned. Only in the fine print.
I expressed my concerns with the length of training and what our basic purpose was for using the software. Basically a connector for our inventory. We were also very interested in using the system for order management as well.
After a month of training we finally got to the order management modules and I quickly discovered this system is not going to work for us. It’s actually worse than what I had built for us in terms of how we manage our inventory now. In terms of the user interface and the workflows associated with how they manage their order management system into shopify it’s very clunky and inefficient with limited push/pull api connectivity. To my surprise, there is actually no connectivity into Shopify except to change the price, so any order entered in bright pearl does not show up in Shopify. It only talks one way by sending the order into brightpearl. There are several limitations and a bunch of additional work that needs to be done. It’s NOT and all in one system as stated in the SOW.
We also had an issues with Bianca. She basically told me that I need to be more respectful to her time and the project after I jumped off the call for a few minutes to take another very important call. When I jumped back on the call I asked her to repeat the answer she was giving to a very important question I had and she met me with from what I could tell a personal attack that was ignorant and disrespectful. I could tell by her tone that she did not care for me from the beginning of her taking over our project from our originally trainer who ended up leaving the company and taking another job. It just felt fake. Not very genuine.
There is also a contract for a year that you need to read into and really understand. You cannot cancel the contract if the software doesn’t work for you. I was under the assumption I could cancel any billing cycle I wanted to which is quarterly.
I will now have to pay $50k for a software I cannot even use. There response was you can have access to the software until the contract is expired in May of 2025.
I would imagine it will just be staging environment with a login.
I would be very cautious using this software in your business. They are a UK based business. They have no support or help. If you call there 800 number you have to either email for billing. No one answered the other option when I called. All the reps do not have phone numbers or direct lines of contact. You have to book times to speak with them on their calendars. What I can tell is they are a very small company working remotely.
There is another review also on the Shopify brightpearl site. I read it after I signed the contract. Wish I would have saw it before. I hope others who are considering discover this review before they sign and really think hard about hiring brightpearl before you sign that dotted line.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with BrightPearl . Their advertising and product descriptions grossly undersell the complexity of making their product work. What was supposed to be a simple and straightforward process turned into an absolute nightmare. Sean (US REP) promised one thing when really you have to use two different systems.
First off, their marketing made it seem like using their product would be a breeze. However, once I received it and tried to set it up, I realized that it required a degree in rocket science just to get it functioning properly. The instructions provided were vague at best, and they want you to use and update two different systems.
Not only did we waste money on a product that doesn't live up to its promises, but I also wasted countless hours trying to figure it out. The frustration and stress caused by dealing with Brightpearl have left me feeling completely dissatisfied and ripped off.
Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs. They clearly prioritize sales over customer satisfaction and have no qualms about deceiving consumers with false advertising. Trust me, you're better off spending your money elsewhere. All the 5 stars reviews are from the UK or Europe not the United States STAY AWAY!
Hi McLogan Team,
We appreciate your feedback! An integral part of getting started with our product is participating in our Professional Services (PS) team's implementation process and the recorded trainings that are saved through the process. These resources paired with support from our Customer Service team and our robust knowledge base are designed to help customers be successful with our system. After reviewing internal communications between your team and our PS team, it was discovered that your team did not complete the implementation process due to downsizing staff size. This is unfortunate, because a terminated implementation means you did not get all our teams training and support.
Thank you

Brightpearl has been a really good solution for us. The Shopify connector works well, fast and reliable. We've also had great support from the Brightpearl team
We have used Brightpearl for over 10 years and we have found it a very intuitive and helpful app. It is particularly suitable for merchants who are focused on buying finished goods and selling them across multiple channels, brands and locations. We like the fact all elements are within one system and that the entire team can easily and quickly access brightpearl in the cloud and run reports.
We have been using Brightpearl for 6 years now and the difference it has made to the efficiency of our stock control cannot be overemphasized. Not sure how we managed before. Highly recommended.
We have multiple Shopify stores connected to Brightpearl using their app. Easy to set up and make changes. Brightpearl keep their app up to date. They also have very helpful support staff who are able to check audit logs on a granular level.
Integration is very good and seamless. Order processing, returns, discounts and refunds all accurately recorded in Brightpearl without the need for any manual manipulation.
