The app works well. The only limitation it has is the number of available packages. It would be great if this could be increased in the future or if there were an option for a higher subscription in exchange for a higher number of packages.
Support has a quick response time, which is a major advantage.

This app has been absolutely fab. There were a couple of blips along the way (most of which the team could help with - but a couple that our devs needed to take a look at themselves). In the end though, it's been a really great revenue driver.

I am giving 4 star as limitation is that the app doesn’t allow certain discount styles like “cheapest item free,(in the bundle)” which would be very useful. We’ve also had to contact support each time we create new bundles because of issues with currencies. Fortunately, those problems have now been resolved with the help of the support team.

Good thing is that support team respond quickly and helpful, (for the support team I would give 5 star) Ankit helped me today and the whole process was smooth and efficient.

Overall, it’s a good app with great support — just hoping to see a bit more flexibility with discount options in the future.

Very easy to use / set up and the customer service is very prompt.

Their support is a little slow because they're in a different time zone, which usually takes the next day to resolve items. As long as you have patience with the setup process, I think you will really like this program. Make sure to use their customer service, as they offer customization options that you can't do. 

With this program, you can only do bundles. If you want to do price breaks, there is another program by the same company. The only problem with this is that it gets a little expensive. In my opinion, both these programs should be together.

We had some bumps at the beginning, and things didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped. But the team stuck with it, listened to my feedback, and in the end, delivered exactly what I needed.

They even refunded me for the period when the app wasn’t working as expected — which shows integrity and great customer service.

I really appreciate the way they handled everything, and I’m happy to be using the app now that it’s running as it should.

I have been using this bundle builder app since July 2023. I have to say, the customer service has been extremely helpful and they jump to help any time you need something!

It does everything we wanted it to, and was quite easy to set up. I'm happy with how it looks on our website too!

My only complaint is how the order comes in visually in the order summary for the customer, and within the "orders" page. I would LOVE if each bundle was listed nicely and in order - all together with the bundle it's a part of. Our staff can have a hard time reading the order as they come in, especially when it's a large order. That creates some confusion and is my only annoyance with this app.

Highly comprehensive app, and one of the few bundling apps that offered the type of UX flow my client needed to make their unique bundling needs clear to the user. It came so close to meeting all my client's needs and the team really puts in the extra mile. I suspect they'll eventually work out a solution to the one crucial limitation we encountered.

For others' research: The limitation in question is a common one, and I found nearly all bundling Shopify apps had a similar limitation (at this time): When the same product/SKUs are selectable in more than one separate bundle, the discounts affect each other in the cart, resulting in extra discounts the order should not be eligible for. This issue is not a problem for anyone who doesn't have multiple bundles involving the same SKUs. (Creating duplicate products with different SKUs wasn't an option because it would throw off inventory with my client's fulfillment partner.) Hopefully Skai Lama soon works out how to get around this in a future update.

UPDATE: Following my original review the team reached out and they were very helpful in getting my problems solved. I raised my score from 3 to 4 stars because of that.

Overall, it's the best bundle building app I've seen so far and I've tried a lot of them. I'm holding back the 5th star because I still think the UI and workflows need a bit more refinement - but the team seems like they care and are working towards a great product!

INITIAL REVIEW:

I've still got hope for this app but it's been a really rough onboarding experience so far.

I see that others have good things to say about the customer service in their reviews but for us it's been painfully slow. They are in India and we're in New York and we never get realtime chat interactions.

We're basically exchanging one sentence per day, which means it's been about two weeks and we've made no progress on actually resolving the glitch that's preventing us from using the app.

The UX on the admin panel also needs some rethinking.

It's surprising, because on the front end the UX is so nice but, for some reason, they laid out the backend in such a way that you have to manually enter your color preferences for every little place in the app, rather than simply letting you set defaults one time. I must have pasted the same hex value in about 20 different places, across 5 different screens just to get the widget to have a coherent look across the whole experience.

Basically, what should be a 10 minute setup for each widget becomes like a 45 minute process.
