We also completely understand your note about the learning curve. Bundler offers quite a lot of options so merchants can create many different types of bundle setups, which sometimes means it takes a little time to explore everything the app can do. The benefit of this is that once you get familiar with it, you gain a lot of flexibility in how you structure your bundles.

Sadly it can't handle high numbers of variants, for example I have one product with 80 variants and tell shoppers the more they buy, the more they save. I didn't realise it was even broken until I saw abandoned carts and tested for myself.
