This app was a Godsend for my online store! I wanted to restrict people from purchasing across collections and this app provided the answer. I was able to restrict purchasing so easily. Highly recommend this app!

Great simple to use App to restrict customers from purchasing products that are incompatible together.

The app is great and the support is even better! Sounds cliche, but it's true. I added Buy X, Restrict Y because we are offering preorders on a bunch of items - Some are expected to ship to customers in spring and some in fall. We didn't want them ordering both spring and fall items on the same order, because we'd have to hold their order until fall when it could ship complete. This app saved us a lot of time usually spent sending and answering emails about preorders.

Even more superb, though, is Bharat - the app's developer. I had some trouble separating the collections because of the way I had them set up originally, and he not only answered my questions, but with my permission, he logged in and made some changes that helped... and then he followed up not once but TWICE over the next couple of weeks to make sure it was working the way we needed it to! That's amazing.

Edit March 6, 2024: We've used the app for over a year now and it's saved us a lot of work, while keeping customers happy. When I've had questions, the MageComp team has answered promptly, logged in to check our setup, and been very professional and helpful. I recommend them, and am planning to add another of their apps to our site as well.

We were are looking for a solution to “Buy X (or add it to the cart), and restrict EVERYTHING ELSE on that purchase" and we didn't want to set up hundreds of one-to-one dependencies for each item in their store or put items into collections to achieve this restriction, so the great support folks a Mage Company suggested that we create one collection with that single product and then, restrict all other collections based on that collection. The app now meets our needs and made our Shopify Store much easier to manage.

In our case we needed an app to make a product dependency not a restriction. All the other apps we asked said they couldn't help us, but MageComp said yes. So now we can have a " To Buy X You Must Also Buy Y" dependency. We can't be happier with the results. They were quick, attentive, and made the changes to the app and we were up and running in no time. The customer service was exceptional and communication with their team was the best we've had so far on Shopify. I highly recommend this App and their team.

This app works great! It required some modification on my theme and the developers were kind enough and prompt to configure it.
Also, this app is the only one of its kind on Shopify store!
