Disappointed with CatalogAce's lack of customization options. While they claimed 'unlimited customization,' I found the options limited and couldn't achieve the layout I wanted. Ended up looking elsewhere for a more flexible solution.

The quality of the PDFs generated by CatalogAce is inconsistent. Some pages look fine, while others appear pixelated and low-resolution. It gives a unprofessional impression to potential clients.

Historically, a competing Shopify App Developer has submitted two (2) DMCA takedown requests that we believe are unfounded. We do not know who is behind these attacks but suspect a third-party group may be involved based on the locations of the fake stores. Although we cannot prove who is behind this review, our analytics indicate it is not genuine. We publicly ask the Shopify Partner team to investigate and remove these malicious reviews. We are also attempting to reach out to the competitor in the hope that we can cooperate to identify if a third party is indeed involved in this situation.
While our app is not perfect, our team investigated the usage of this specific store on our app and found no real user engagement. We utilize various analytics tools to communicate this to Shopify Partner and report malicious reviews orchestrated or paid for by third parties.
Our team is devastated by the never-ending waves of attacks and would greatly appreciate more help from the Shopify Partner team. While the Partner team has historically removed these malicious reviews, the period between when the reviews are posted and when the Partner team takes action significantly impacts our ranking and install rate.
The app crashes frequently, especially when saving work or converting product pages to PDFs. This has wasted a lot of our time and disrupted our workflow. We've lost important data several times due to these crashes. Such instability is unacceptable for a business tool. We need a more reliable platform. Fixing these bugs should be a priority.
Customer support is unresponsive. We've had issues importing products from Shopify and received no help despite multiple attempts to reach out. This lack of assistance has significantly hampered our workflow. It's frustrating to deal with unresolved technical problems. Customer service should be more proactive and responsive. We expected better support for a paid service.
The app is very slow. Loading times are excessive, and it significantly slows down our workflow. It needs to be optimized for better performance.
Cant find support, i install the trial and they charged me on the first hour the full price of the higest plan. Even the archived products appear in the catalog, there are few or none personalization options.

CatalogAce is overpriced for what it offers. For a small business, the cost is unjustifiable, especially considering the limited features and constant technical issues. There are better, more affordable alternatives out there.
The conversion tracking feature is inaccurate and unreliable. It over-reported our sales figures, which led to confusion and miscalculations in our sales data. We had to switch to a different app to get accurate analytics.
The barcode feature is a nice idea, but it’s poorly implemented. Many of the barcodes generated by the app didn’t scan correctly, causing issues with inventory management and sales.
