This app has been helpful to our needs thus far but shout out to their customer service team! Very fast response time and they are prompt to understand the issue and fix it :)
I regret spending time with this app. The "Starter" plan is practically useless — you only get 1 checkout rule, 1 shipping rule, and 1 payment rule. That's not enough for any real-world store, meaning you're forced to upgrade almost immediately. They mentioned it in the fine print, but that's just a fig leaf since the effect is the same: wasted time setting it up, only to discover the restrictions make it unworkable.
If you're looking for a serious solution, look elsewhere. The restrictive limits feel like a bait-and-switch, and I don't recommend this app.
EZ Checkout Controller is exactly what we needed! We wanted to set up a minimum order requirement for customers with specific tags, and this app made it possible. Customer support, especially Julian, was fantastic—he responded promptly and explained everything with great patience. One important thing I learned is that if express checkout options (ShopPay, Google Pay, etc.) are enabled, the minimum order checkout rule won’t apply, but that’s a Shopify limitation. Overall, the EZ Checkout Controller team is great, and I highly recommend this app!
EZ Checkout Controller delivered exactly what we needed! The features were just as described, and while the setup wasn’t intuitive for us, Jake made the process seamless by handling everything to our exact specifications. His customer service was responsive and extremely thorough. He didn't stop until we had exactly what we needed. A pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

This app is a must-have if you need more control over who can place orders. We use it to restrict checkout based on customer location and certain product combinations, and it works flawlessly. The rule setup is super flexible — we’ve blocked PO box addresses, limited certain SKUs to specific regions, and even required certain tags to proceed to checkout. Support was quick to help us fine-tune our first set of rules. If Shopify’s native checkout options feel too limited, this app is the answer.
