I was NOT impressed. Installed and setup and 72 hours later it was promoting some outdoor lights as a security camera. Money lost and lesson learned. Clever and Smart are two different things. Update. I got contacted by a David to reconsider my review and so I reinstalled the app, setup a meeting and my clever ad setup has been setting for more than a week now and no response back. I'd very much consider looking elsewhere

When I added this app, I noticed a huge jump in traffic. BUT I started also noticing that the traffic wasn't converting at all- and we had previously had a good conversion rate. So I started watching the live traffic and I noticed that HUNDREDS of clicks went to one page and never moved. They'd sit there for a minute, then go away.
At a cpc of $.47 and up, that adds up. No way. No thank you.

Might work well if you sell generic items. My products however are very niche specific. The keywords used for example are just 'tshirt'. 95% of people searching for t-shirts aren't interested in buying LGBT shirts. So this clever app doesn't work for me. Got 0 clicks in 24 hours. I guess I'll stick to manual ads.

This app is not worth your time, let alone your money should you decide to go for the premium version (like I did). If you look at all the 5 star ratings, you will see that all of them are from people who just installed the app, but haven´t "worked" with it yet.
In detail: based on some very rudimentary input from yourself (you cannot influence a lot) the app creates a ton of campaigns in your Google Ads account. Support questions are not being answered, even after upgrading to Premium. Results of the campaigns have been way worse than with the campaigns that I tinkered myself somehow. I waited a week or so if anybody would bother to answer to my emails, nothing. Deleted the app today.

Worst ads quality ever seen, yet automated, in that they were activated without warning right away. 4 days of waiting to get access (BCFM = 4), with no reason at all (we are working on it, the claim was). The alarming fact was that there was a mystery manager account attached to our own with ownership rights! When asked to downgrade their access rights so we add our own MCC nobody had a clue what was that (I assumed it was theirs, how else they would "manage"). And it was only then that they "realized" that they didn't have access (but you were supposed to be working on it?!?!). When I eventually removed the mystery account and added them, the platform opened. And It was the moment I was faced with the worst setup, creative etc ever. And Activated! They were kind enough to even create ads for our free postcards (we sell Jewellery). Not a chance to work by starting from scratch as everything worth the effort was paywalled. It wasn't made clear that the app or developer/company of app would automatically build and place ads without our permission and/or approvals. Not to mention the ads were totally off-brand (see the poor choice of typography). Add to that the ads that were placed appear to have been completely ineffective. Strongly advise not using this app.

We are sorry you feel that way about our app. Please note that when you download the app, there is a checkbox which authorizes us to create and upload the campaigns we create to your Adwords account. Also, we sent you a confirmation email when we uploaded the campaigns and we have acknowledged of you reading it. Regarding the off-brand ad design, we have a banner customizer tool available under our Premium Plan.

i set my ads to run in the USA, the ad ran world wide. I set the ad to target women (we sell cosmetics)... my ads ran in Russia and Turkey, and when the users got to my site they searched for porn and sex toys.

No thanks.

Péssimo aplicativo, me cobrou quase 400 reais de marketing em menos de 7 dias, não tive nenhuma venda somente visitas indesejadas de indianos e outros países distante, sendo que só vendo para o Brasil. Não instale não é de graça como falam. Tem cobranças abusivas e absurdas

With our campaign, you only spend $183, a cost that is under your daily budget. However, we would like to help you with this issue. Please contact us to schedule a call.

The customer support is non existent, they are not bothered how the campaigns are performing.

Have emailed them several times but did not hear any response whatsoever. There are so many recommendations on my google ads account by Clever has not acted on any of them.

Please at least respond to emails.
