Not working. App suddenly stopped syncing any orders to our click and drop account.
Doesn't add orders to click-and-drop account, all the things show that it is integrated with royal mail but it doesn't add any orders.
Worst documentation ever in an app. Spent heaps of time setting up the shipping rules so that we could automate the process, then we get to the end of it to find out that if the order contains more than one product you have to enter the postage manually. Why not say that at the start ? The vast majority of our orders are for more than one item which is why we inserted all the weights and package sizes to account for that. A complete and utter waste of time. Edit. 23/10/23. Lack of reply noted, I guess when you get too big to care.....
When it used to work it was great, but as of a few months ago it stopped pulling orders through unless you reconnected, then it would create a new connection each time and bring each order through 3 times.
Orders set to make as dispatched on Shopify aren't.
It's frustrating as it used to work great, why change it? I see other people saying the same and still no fix!
It was working perfectly for several years and suddenly, about a month or 2 ago stopped feeding the tracking numbers back to shopify from royal mail. also I was getting duplicate orders coming through to royal mail and after exploring noticed that there were 8 connections from shopify to royal mail. Every time I'd tried to update the integration it formed a new connection. What a shame. It was a great app but for some reason has been spoilt.
Have to agree with everyone else. This app is no longer working properly. It does not mark orders as dispatched on my shopify store and does not upload tracking. It's an absolute nightmare for us. We have all our social media stores connected to this app and it works fine, but it just does not work well with shopify itself. Unfortunately there is no alternative to this at the moment, so nothing we can do. Please guys sort this app out, we would rather pay and have this working properly then have it free but being absolutely useless.
Doesn't add orders to click and drop account, so you still need to manually type out order details which seems to to be more work than just copy/paste and posting at a post office.
Update, while yes there has now been an update, it only displays about 7 days worth of orders, we're mostly a MTO bespoke shop with lead times of upto 7 weeks, so this still renders the app useless for us. the click and drop integration on etsy allow for all orders of any age, so why shopify is limited to 7 days i don't know.
Thank you for your review. As detailed in our help guide, upon first creating your integration there can be a small initial delay before your first orders import into Click & Drop, and we have checked and can see that all of your orders did subsequently import very shortly after you posted your review. Please don't hesitate to contact our support team if you experience any other issues.
Thank you for your update. For reference all Click & Drop integrations will only import store orders made within the last 7 days, but may go back further than this at the point of first creating the integration. I think it would be worth contacting our support team directly to help us fully understand your specific use case and if there is a way to accommodate it within Click & Drop.
Ok so I was worried to install because of all the negative reviews. So far it has just removed a step for me exporting my new orders, which is good. However, why is this so barebones? Can it not sync back from my Royal Mail Click and Drop account and mark orders as fulfilled and send my customers a tracking number as well? Because it appears I still need to send this to them myself manually, which is a lot of pointless copying and pasting when the apps are connected and should do this automatically. I know Royal Mail isn't exactly a high tech company, but man, all it is really doing is exporting new orders and nothing else. Please put a little work into this, it might not mean much to you but for small businesses like mine it makes a big difference.
Currently unsupported until Click and Drop roll out an update for Shopify's API - very frustrating as a small business owner. please update the app!!!!
It's good enough, however would be much better if:
- you could load a credit to avoid going through gpay/worldpay/paypal everytime you paid
- you could copy the order details, so if doing a resend, you could copy the original order details and make a new order out of it.
Thank you for your review. Please be aware that you can actually clone an existing order by selecting the order on the order grid (click the grey circle), select the Clone option in the resulting bottom right menu and Select Go. I hope you find this useful.
