If you use Shopify and Quickbooks in your environment then Connex is an absolute "Must Have", especially given their low pricing model. It is the ONLY middleware solution that we have ever found to work seamlessly between Shopify and QuickBooks. Their support is absolutely amazing and they are truly and genuinely concerned with the success of their customers, not just their software working. When dealing with support, you are able to speak directly to some of the smartest developers we have come across (not just a help desk) and they are able to provide industry leading advice on business process flow and ecommerce solutions rather than just the specifics of their software.
We started using Connex three years ago as a $10 million per year B2B business and have grown by over 40% year-over-year each year. We would have been crushed under the weight of our own growth if it wasn't for this solution and their amazing insight, advice, and support that their team has given us.
I cannot say enough good things about this app, their company, and their Customer Success Staff. I wish there was another app on the Shopify platform that I can compare them to (and we use many), but Connex is simply an outlier!

This is an excellent integration solution. It handles orders, invoices, sales orders, payments, credits, and checks seamlessly. We have been using Connex for over two years running for our Shopify stores https://www.schedule73parts.us and https://www.mypartssite.com
First, let's understand that syncing orders, inventory, and other sensitive info from Shopify to Quickbooks (or Quickbooks to Shopify) is extremely complex. I've worked with a number of integration and sync solutions before over the years. Connex is by far the most intuitive, flexible, and consistent. It functions more as an enterprise solution and these typically cost $$$ per month! The support team at Connex is unbelievable. Support ticket response is faster than any other app in the Shopify marketplace. Some apps respond in days or even weeks. These guys hit you back in a few hours (sometimes less than 1 hr). Plus, the expertise of the support team is outstanding. Most app support is level 1 at best. With Connex, your ticket will be responded to by a level 2 or higher every time. Can't say enough good things about this solution and the team. If you're trying to sync Shopify and QB, you'd be crazy not to use this app.
This app is worth every penny. It does exactly what we need, accurately and consistently import our sales from Shopify into QBs desktop. It works seamlessly and saves us countless man-hours. Joseph and his team of professionals are extremely responsive. The few times we have had problems or needed help setting up a rule, they were there to help. In the beginning they even did a little development to tailor the app to our needs. This app is robust. If you are considering this app, get it, you will not be disappointed!

The Connex for QuickBooks Desktop App has completely changed my workflow to the better. It is saving me hours as I no longer have to enter all of our invoice data. The setup was supported very well with on-boarding sessions. It did take me a little while to understand and get the details correct, but once there it is such a time saver. Support is via email and Connex team replies back in 12-24 hours maybe because I'm on the West coast and write them at the end of the day. If it can't be solved via email, they promptly setup an on-boarding session. I highly recommend Connex.

Did not work for us. Impossible to import over 100.000 Trans by year.
Really; I hoped more of the software.
We now allow syncing past 100,000 sales channels. Please talk to our sales team. We offer metered billing past your sales limit.
I struggled at first, but the customer service was awesome. Tech support walked me thru the entire thing and gave me more insight than anyone from QB or Shopify did. My life just got 10x easier with them!
I loved this app when I first started using it, I got an annual metered plan that was around $150 a month. Then I was migrated to $199 a month when the pricing structure changed. Recently I got an email that I was being migrated to almost $400/month for 2 sales channels. They just priced themselves out of value for our company.
When I first got this app in 2020, the customer service was AMAZING and it worked great. I loved how it would record my sales as well as match my deposits. Sadly the app has been less reliable in 2022 and rarely were deposits matched. I spent more time manually recording things that it was no longer worth having. And the stellar customer service from 2020/21 is now non-existent. I wish them all the best but they are no longer a company that supports small businesses.
