Awesome app, it helped me to translate all my new website to different languages with ease! Also great and very fast customer support service, helped me to solve a minor issue! Love this app!
We reinstalled this app for the purpose to enable our brand to sell international, but for some strange reasons this app fail to enable us to sell in allot of countries. Please look into separating languages and countries as allot of countries beside the UK speaks English, French, and Spanish. This issue limits our business from selling or marketing to allot of countries. German (Deutsch) is spoken in Germany, Austria and other countries, English is a language not a country, French not a country, is a language spoken in France, Canada and other countries, Spanish not a country is a language spoken in Spain, USA, North America and other countries and Italian the language spoken in Italy, USA and other countries. TI needs to separate the above issues.. Your app fails to understand the difference between Country and Language, hence the reasons we will be uninstalling this app again and go with your competitor. It fails to meet our needs at this moment.
I used this app to help to add a new language to my store. I had no issue at all to set up everything. I also translated my own part I wanted to. Very genuine one! Well done guys!

The best app to translate content from third party apps. Also great customer service. I can tell this after testing other apps that were very bad like Transcy or Translate My Store.
The app works great and the customer support was really fast and really helpful with ideas on how to implement a customization!

The app works pretty well together with the new native Shopify multi language capabilities. No changes in the theme files are required. Automated translation quality is very good and pricing is very fair as there is an option to purchase one time translation credits. Support was very helpful and answered promptly.

Note you need to pay to have your content translated automatically - I would probably have needed to pay 30€ to have my website translated into 1 other language, so I decided to uninstall the app. The translation is made using google translate, it wasn't bad.
Also note if you make changes to your original text, the translation will not update automatically.

Translation Lab uses the Google natural language recognition AI to automatically translate your store. This AI costs $10 per 500K characters. We charge $9.99 per 300K, which means that our margin is $4. Out of the $9.99 Shopify take $2 so our margin is reduced to $2.
Given the bills we pay to AWS for our computing resources and our development team salaries I hope it is clear that the automatic translations cannot be provided for free or for less that they cost right now because even now we are paying out of our own pockets to have the app do what it does.
When you go to the Translate page in the app you have a Scan button which will process the information in your store and provide you with an estimate of how many characters you need to translate your store and thus what the cost will be. I do think that $30 is a pretty good price for having your whole store translated.
Regarding having your content changes translated automatically, we have not implemented this on purpose. We prefer for the store owner to know exactly how many characters are needed and what the cost will be before they hit the Translate button instead of all this happening behind the scenes and charges being applied to the store.
