SmartCS: Currency Converter

Mostly good. Out of the box it does exactly what you need. You may need to tweak the layout/css files for your own requirements if they're in any way bespoke. I also had to improve the location detection script manually, but have informed the developer, so this will hopefully get integrated into the product soon.

We have tried many different currency converters, but this is number 1. With this you are not stuck with the standard currency format. Here you can easily adjust the currency format... And great support!

Update: Twice we have had problems with the app. First time Google suspended our account and we lost alot of revenue. After first denying their mistake Secomapp came back and fixed it. A few weeks ago we got the same problem but then they fixed it fast. Overall this is a good app and great support, but I hope they don't have more issues with the app in the future.

App is excellent and easy to set up except for the very last part where you had to add in a line of code in your template to get the currency converter drop down bar to appear.

This should be no problem for those who have basic coding experience, but for a total laymen like me it was quite a problematic issue. Support really shines in this area as they were able to fit the code into exactly where I wanted it to be. In addition they had also kindly informed me when they encountered a bug and requested me to republish the settings.

So excited to have this app available in my store. Many thanks for the quick and efficient assistance from Math.

I used the app to help customers see the price of an item in their local currency. I think the app its self is helpful. For a non computer person it was a little challenging to set up. But worth the effort. Downsides are placement of the icon on your shopify site. I can't seem to put it in a more aesthetically pleasing place most likely due to my limited understanding of code. Upsides seeing the charge for the items purchased in local currency is excellent. I would definitely suggest this app if you wish to sell overseas.

The customer service is great. However, I would have preferred that they advised me upfront that I need to manually add the currencies. The other thing is, the price does not automatically convert or display to a foreign currency as per the location. It only converts after keying in the payment details at the check. But, for a free app, it is great. Again, customer service was quick. So, that is a bonus!

Very happy with their service. Managed to solve some of the issues i have in the beginning.

It is a decent app and i will recommended it for anyone who has doubts or questions. The support team was helpful too.

Good app, sadly not good on 3rd party themes.
Also it would be nice to have the currency change at checkout message at the actual checkout
