Sadly I installed this app for my store only after several months and too many abandoned carts i investigated and the shopacado discount DOES NOT work when people choose Express Checkout I'm most unimpressed on lost revenue and my websites reputation!
I installed this app and when uninstalled many traces were left. Support is ignoring me to help me remvoe htem.
App worked at first but then whenever we had to update discounts app would just either not remove discounts nor update. Had to reach each month about this but nothing changed.
I would recommend anyone to stay clear of this app. It doesn't work as intended and leaves very very dangerous code with lacking support.
Be careful with this app - it worked fine for us for years but this black friday we tried to use it and the app has been updated. It only really supports 2.0 themes. The app wasn't working exactly as it should, so reached out to support. They refused to do the upgrade for us, insisted we changed the theme code. Everything went wrong and they were unable to fix it. After few hours of wasted time in the middle of our promotion which is live to customers we had to cut our losses and switch to another solution. The support team is very lacking!!
Review 3: Update additional downgrade: If I could give this tech team a -20 I would. In addition to the as low as price not working, we have asked them repeatedly to assist us as the app broke our dropdown cart and cart bubble count. So customers were adding things to the cart multiple times because nothing happened and the count stayed at zero until you opened the cart to see if anything was added. We found a great app that works with Shopify and doesn't break our cart or cart counter. I am sorry we waited so long for Shopacado to provide absolutely no help in solving what was most likely a simple code edit to a basic Shopify 2.0 theme.
Review 2: Have to downgrade my original review. We ran an "update" provided by SHOPACADO that was supposed to bring code up-to-date with Shopify 2.0 and it broke our discount calculations. The as low as" price and discount dollar amounts stopped refreshing when the variant options were updated. I have been waiting for weeks for this to be fixed and nothing. We had to take the information off of our product pages because the discount amounts shown are incorrect, so not getting the full use of this product.
Review 1: Five stars! We have been using this app for a year now and it has been working consistently well. Whenever we need support with settings or setup, their customer support is quick to respond and always very knowledgeable about the product and how to make it work for you. I would not hesitate to recommend this Shopify app and this company.
i have used this app for years but now the new upgrade is interferin with other coding on my site :( we have reached out to help multiple times regarding the issues but they just “forward to developers” then never follow up.
Support is pretty terrible. Had some issues with the upgrade and Nivi did very little to help and was clear that she didn't even pay attention to what I was saying in chat. Last problem I had was a simple border issue (wasn't showing up correctly) with the discount table and she said she was looking into it and then never heard back.
Update: So, after the upgrade, this app will no longer stack with other product discounts. I have items that cannot be discounted so I need to use product discount codes and not order discounts. It's a shame since this worked perfectly fine before the upgrade. Once again, Nivi was not very helpful and clearly didn't bother to really read what I said.
Sorry, i am editing my last review. After various plugin updates , unfortunately i didn't find that how much this plugin is adding revenue in our revenue stream. I ask this question in chat in plugin support but they failed to reply. Currently no reports or anything is there so this plugin is a question mark.
Catastrophique, ça fait + d'une semaine que j'attends qu'on s'occupe de mon problème. J'ai plus de 80 clients qui se plaignent que ça ne fonctionne pas et je dois tout gérer car à part me dire "nous avons prévenu nos développeurs, il reviens vers vous rapidement" ils ne font rien d'autre. Des mois et des mois que je paye leurs application pour rien.
