CPB ‑ Custom Product Builder

On my previous wordpress site, with my knowledge of web building, it was not possible for me to have a custom product builder of this level, but this app made it so, so easy. The customer service I received was also excellent - they helped adjust the theme of the app to better fit my website and adjusted features that I needed, both with speed and ease. 10/10 would recommend for service alone.

I would really like this App to work, unfortunately bugs keep showing up. Unexpected glitches suddenly appear: pages with errors, items show up as out of stock when customers try to add to shopping cart, etc.
The developers are quick to respond that they are looking into the issue but over a week has passed and no solution. We are losing sales.... even though the developer keeps charging their $50 USD monthly as if the app worked.

The issues mostly arise as the developers keep upgrading the app without properly proofing it before releasing the upgrades.

The app works great, when it doesn't come up with glitches. We sell custom bags and our clients can mix and match all the components and see their finished product on screen. One thing that the app does not do -- unfortunately -- is syncing with Shopify's inventory for the components. Your clients could purchase custom items which you might not be able to supply as they are out of stock. At $50 a month it is one of the most expensive apps, inventory syncing should be included.

I'm coming at this from a relative amateur's point of view and tbh i have got stuck a couple of times but finally gave in and contacted support and I'm very glad I did, they've been extremely helpful and have never failed to return back to me or provide a great solution.
This is the extent of my experience at this time but I would happily recommend them

This app AUTOMATICALLY edits your live theme instead of being able to install on a test theme. When you remove it, it doesn't remove any of the code. This is terrible.

Update: The developers sent three emails AND called my physical store over the last 24 hours due to this review. They requested collaborator access to my store AFTER I had already removed the app. They sent information about how to remove the code, and asked that I remove this review. While this shows they likely have very responsive customer service, they clearly do not understand other small businesses. I cannot in good conscience give a higher score to a company that charges $50 for what is essentially beta software that edits live code.

I understand that a one-star review is very damaging to startup company, but isn't that the point of reviews? I firmly believe this is an unprofessional way to run a beta (no matter how responsive customer service is), so I cannot change the score. I suspect this team does not have a lot of experience with software development because this is such a basic mistake and such an odd pricing structure.

Also, please don't expect me to disrupt my busy day and get back to you immediately when this is your mistake. One email would have been enough followup, after which I might have chosen to respond.

We are a store specialized in neon and to find a plugin that fits our needs, we lost a lot of money in other competitors and were disappointed. By chance, we contacted Vladislav and he was able to advise us and develop the neon effect we were looking for thanks to his colleague Egor. We are 100% satisfied with the plugin, they are very attentive and incredibly responsive. Don't look any further, you're in the right place! Word of a very perfectionist team. I've been using this app for about a month now and I can say that this is the best coutomizer app I've used. The support is fantastic also.
