I was using this app to deliver mix goods (a physical & digital product). At first, it worked perfectly. Customers could download digital good immediately after a successful checkout while they were waiting fulfillment of their physical item as described in the app's documentation.

"Customers will still be able to immediately download the digital content even if fulfillment is set to manual. They are presented a link following a successful checkout."
All of a sudden it stop delivering a download URL following successful checkout. I contacted Shopify Support and I was told that the above Reminder was an inconsistency and that the app is not supposed to function that way at all. Which I still can't understand because it functioned in the way described in the App's Documentation for months. Shopify Support and the App's Developer confirmed that the Documentation that describes this functionality is an "unknown error". I guess they're happy that I reported it.
In the past few months, this app has become very bad and untrustable. Always fail to deliver digital products. 10/5 times I received complaints from the customers that they didn't receive their download link. In this way, I have to send them manually the files which takes a lot of time... I contacted Shopify support but they told me that I have a problem with my stripe but it's not true. This app was good in the past years, but in the last few months, it's very poor...

This app has an error. Unfortunately, after uploading the files, after a while they are deleted (after a few weeks) without any warning. The customer buys the product and does not receive it, as the file is no longer available. I wonder if something can be done.

UPDATE: The update in October 2022 is a visual mess, if I'm being honest. There's so much information presented for individual files now, that it's almost overwhelming scrolling through everything. It's especially bad if you have more than one file attached to a listing (i.e., variations); you can barely tell where info on one file ends and the next file starts. The previous version was super simple, and I honestly prefer the old streamlined look. ORIGINAL REVIEW: It does what it's supposed to do and so far has worked flawlessly for my shop. I am grateful it's free and am extremely grateful the storage is unlimited. I do wish there was an option for downloads to be available within the customer's order history page, and/or to be able to turn off the auto-generated email this app kicks out. (Shopify sends the regular order confirmation email, with a link to the download page, then this app sends a second email with a link to the files. Together, they're redundant, and the customer gets 2 emails with every order placed. This app's email is so plain and generic that it's almost embarrassing. I wish I could opt in or out.) Overall, this app is the only reason I'm able to sell on Shopify and branch off from Etsy, so I'm very, very happy with it! Thank you, developers!

とにかく無料が嬉しいです!ランニングコストが膨らんでいたのでとても助かりました。総合評価が何故か低いですが、shopify公式アプリとのネット上で情報もあり安心して実装してみましたが、導入して良かったです。
日本語ではなく英語表記なので、使い方がわかりずらいですがネット上に使い方も紹介されていて、簡単に導入できましたのでご参考ください。いいアプリへのお礼を込めてレビューさせて頂きました。

Shame that it is impossible to obtain a real customer IP
instead of internal. In case of fraud, such IP cannot be used as evidence, unfortunately, small thing but very important. Everything else works without issue.
It's great when it works,
I sell digital products with large file sizes (average 3GB) and my uploads get interrupted about 70% of the time, the option to sync to dropbox or google drive for reliable uploads would be a great addition to the shopify digital downloads app.
otherwise this is a GREAT app, there are a lot of paid apps out there but are very limited when it comes to file size and storage space and they are very expensive. as far as I know, this app has unlimited storage which is pretty amazing in itself, plus its free! (I would pay for this)
note/tip to users running Adobe CC: if you are uploading large files and get cut off, try disabling or lowering its upload speed, it pings the Adobe server at random times which can cut your uploads to shopify really quickly.
Has been working fine in the background for nearly 3 years, ok customers couldnt access downloads in their account page, but at least I could fairly quickly resend download links on the odd occasion there was an issue. Latest update has resulted in constant 'There has been an error, the developer has been told' messages, the app regularly tells me it isn't installed. Clicking the 'Resend Download Link' on customer order page causes an error. Loading the downloads and manually generating a download link does the same. How an update that is so damaging to the app ever got released I do not know. Waited patiently to see if a patch was forthcoming, doesn't look like it... AVOID
