Easify is a great app when it works, but unfortunately, that is the main issue. When it works, it does a lot of what we need and the live support can be helpful for smaller changes, such as adjusting text styling, aesthetics, and minor display issues.

However, there are some important features missing that make the app frustrating to use at scale.

The live preview feature is quite limited. You can only have one live preview option working properly, and if you add another live preview option, it can break the first one. For stores that rely heavily on visual customisation, this is a big limitation.

The template feature also is not as useful as it could be. At the moment, you can only create a single option template, rather than a full option set template with multiple options inside it. This makes it harder to manage products efficiently, especially when you have a large catalogue.

Another major issue is that you cannot add a new option to every product with one click. For example, if you wanted to add a new option to 100 different products, you would have to manually go into each product and add it individually. This could be massively improved with an option set priority system, where higher priority option sets appear above lower priority ones on the product page. That way, you could assign a new option set to hundreds of products, give it a lower priority, and have it automatically appear underneath the existing product options.

The most frustrating issue, though, is that the app randomly breaks. At least once a month, we have to contact Easify support because something that was working perfectly fine suddenly stops working, despite us changing nothing.

As I am writing this, Easify has completely disappeared from our store. Customers currently cannot purchase products because the app is not working. We also have another store where Easify is working fine, which makes it feel like the issue is specific to our main store.

Honestly, we are exhausted from dealing with the constant problems. Our whole website depends on Easify, and moving to another app would take hundreds of hours because of the number of products we have set up. So while the app has great potential and can be very useful when it works, the reliability issues make it incredibly stressful to depend on for a live business.

First of all the free plan is useless. Completely useless. Upgraded to the middle plan since that one allowed live preview along with a large MB per file to be uploaded. 2 week trial. Can't really judge if it would be worth it when i've run into issues, like images doubling up when live preview is enabled. Had to spend so much time resizing all pictures only to find out it was something in the theme.liquid backend setting. Then after that was "fixed" i ran into another issue. In live preview you can choose if you want the customer to have the option of moving the text/image and or resizing the text/image, it was not working and it has now been 4 hours and no fix. While i was setting up more templates i noticed the double image started again on the products with live preview enabled, i did not mention it since this time around it was not obstructing the arrows and other pictures. Honestly this app has potential but if this app was made to work with shopify then customers should not be having issues within the first 2 weeks. It does not inspire any confidence that i wont run into issues later on or that it could cause loss of money as I have read in some of the reviews on a lot of apps. Also i think these free shopify themes also have something to do with the fact that anything free does not work well. IF the free stuff doesn't work well how can we expect the expensive plans to work.

We installed Easify to manage product options without creating variants and used it for several months. The interface was user-friendly, but the app caused major problems on both the technical and operational side.

1. Checkout bug: option pricing not applied with discount codes

When customers applied discount codes, the extra charge for selected options was removed from the final total, even though the option appeared as selected in the order. This led to orders going through with €0 extra — a critical bug that caused real financial loss.

2. Confirmed performance drop (before/after tests)

We ran multiple Lighthouse audits before and after uninstalling the app:
• Product page (desktop): went from 46 → 95
• Product page (mobile): 22 → 46
• Home page (desktop): 63 → 74
• Home page (mobile): 85 → 95

These results were consistent across several runs.
No other change was made between the tests besides removing Easify — which confirms the app had a measurable impact on page speed.

3. Limited dev availability despite “24/7 support”

While replies were polite and courteous, basic questions like “Where is tracking configured?” or “How to fully uninstall?” could not be answered in real time. We were told the dev team would respond in 6–10 hours, due to their time zone.
This does not meet the expectations of true 24/7 technical support — especially for stores based in Europe.

Final response from Easify

They confirmed the app uses Shopify’s extension system, does not inject tracking scripts, and that no manual cleanup is needed after uninstall. That’s appreciated — but came too late, after real losses and slowdowns.

Summary:
The app has potential, but for us, it caused lost revenue, degraded performance, and long delays in support. It may be suitable for simple setups, but if your store is sensitive to speed and operational stability, use with caution.

not so good. i always have bug with my theme and easify. 1 year later I have try to re-install it because the live preview seems what I need, but the bug are consistent. They wont refund me. and they said the bug have been corrected but on my side is not. each day I have to explain the bug again and again and again. Finally I have asked for a refund, before my first 30 days...7 days later... no answer on that refund. I have uninstalled this app and will never ever again be downloading this app.

Ive lost a lot of money with this app. For the majority of the orders, it doesn't charge my customers for the additional add ons.

Very slow customer service. I am waiting two days now for support. Not acceptable. Options are a crucial part of a shop, and customer service must be faster in case of issues. If you offer your app worldwide, then you have to offer worldwide customer service as well.

Les réponses sont trop longues. on doit chercher par nous même. certes ça me conforte dans l'idée que je ne suis pas nulle et que je suis capable de trouver des solutions par moi même, mais quand on débute, on aimerait avoir une aide de qualité
